I love this little place! Since finding it a few months ago, it has quickly become my go to! The homemade chips are my favorite thing, the turkey blt wrap is a close second! Every time I am in there the staff is extremely polite and have great recommendations. The to-go meals look fantastic and I can’t wait to try those!

Clean, conscious of covid19, excellent takeout options for lunch or supper. Catering is hard to beat too! They’ve added desserts, bottles of wine, and so much. If you haven’t been there in awhile, make sure you go!

Very relaxed and cozy atmosphere. It was my first time trying this place and I went with a friend. We both really liked it she got a Ruben sandwich and their lemon chicken and veggies soup woth noodles, I got half of their liberty club I believe it was called and a cup of the same lemon chicken soup. It was all really good. We split a brownie too and that was so soft and gooey . Very nice place.

Decided to try this cafe while visiting Lexington. Chicken salad was quite good, but the Henry Clay sandwich was incredible. Homemade chips and the potato salad were also a good step above what you usually get elsewhere. They did give me the wrong sandwich at first and I didn’t notice until I had left. That’s partially on me and they corrected it quickly when I returned and gave me a few brownies to compensate for the mistake. Will definitely return in the future and will take care to check my order before leaving from now on.

I ate at liberty Café on Thursday, June 13. Looked at the menu online beforehand and decided to have the tuna albacore salad plate. I was appalled when I saw my lunch thrown at me by two young boys at the service counter that did not like their job. A very small ball of NOT albacore tuna served with mayo and onions (I can make that at home )on a piece of lettuce with very old raw carrots, quarters of tomatoes and bits of cucumber. nothing that the picture online look like. Extremely overpriced and not worth anything with no service. Will never be back.
if I could give negative stars I would

We were in the neighborhood and looking for something different to eat and passed by this place. I am so glad that we stopped in! I had the Liberty which is a delicious country ham sandwich and my wife had the chicken salad croissant. Probably the best chicken salad we have had in a long time. The country ham sandwich did not disappoint either! We both had the home made potato chips. We will definitely go out of our way to eat here again and again!

Nice little soup and sandwich shop. We had the turkey BLT wraps with their house chips. Everything was fresh and delicious.

WOW!! The cashier was super polite and honest when I asked about the clam chowder. I asked if it was good and he said he was allergic to shellfish so he hadn’t tried it. I really appreciate that honesty. I ordered it and yes it was warm and filling. The roast beef sandwich and all of our food was so tasty !!! My wife and I came here for my birthday lunch and was very impressed. I highly recommend Liberty cafe. Great warm food and super polite staff in a comfortable setting.
Thank you and happy birthday to me !!

I’ve eaten here a few times and really liked it but the bread on my Italian sub was awful today. I hope it was just a one-off as that definitely was not focaccia. It seemed like a defrosted hoagie or something.
ADDENDUM: After my previous bad experience, I decided to give them another shot. I had the same sandwich and it was excellent today. The bread this time was ciabatta and everything tasted fantastic. Will definitely be going back.

Great spot for a quick, delicious lunch. The homemade chips were amazing as was the brownie. Can’t wait to try some of their frozen take home meals, I’m sure they’re just as good!
