The waitress was very nice and very helpful. The open face meatloaf left a lot to be desired. The meatloaf was sliced super thin. The chicken caprese sandwich had the smallest amount of chicken on it and didn’t even have the pesto on it that it says on the menu. I was hoping for better but I was not too impressed unfortunately. I’m not very picky generally but I’ve been to other diners in the area that have better food and more generous portions.

I ordered the chicken cordon bleu which I asked over rice w mushrooms was tasty however a piece of lunchmeat ham was thrown on top it is SUPPOSED TO B rolled up inside the chicken!!

Updated for 2021: spacious layout, and the prices are like being back in 1981. It’s the best deal and quality out of all the numerous diners in this area. Plus the owner is very warm and gracious and our favorite grandma server is so lovely to our kids (hint: fantastic kid specials here too). Visit this place!
Low key in a good way, solid set of specials beyond breakfast. Breakfast fare is particularly great. Love their Florentine omelet with layers of fresh spinach and big chunks of good feta.

Please don’t eat here I ordered from here recently and the food was not of my liking. I asked for cheese grits and got 2 slices of non melted cheese on top of grits I didn’t even eat it. I also got scrambled eggs that was not scrambled and was not all the way done it looked like it was microwaved. The french toast was not hot. But the french toast was the only thing I ate. Won’t order here no more. Not a good experience

The food was ok not great. Had a French onion soup and it was very salty. I was very in shock that while i was eating one of the waitress was sweeping the floor and the floor was very dirty. I really wasn’t impressed with this diner and will not be back anytime soon.

Had late lunch/breakfast with family and loved this off beat place.
We ordered eggplant parm, chicken parm, omelette, chicken wrap.
