I drive by every week on my way to open my little bar, Shadow & Light in Burnet, and finally decided to stop in for dinner at the Beer Market — and wow, I’m so glad I did. The place feels cozy and welcoming, already decked out for the holidays. We sat at the bar and Rose took such great care of us. She was attentive, friendly, and really went above and beyond.

We started with the artichoke dip and finished with a salad and pizza — everything was fresh and delicious. The vibe was great, the service was amazing, and we’ll definitely be back!

We had such a great experience at Liberty Hill Beer Market thanks to Gwen! She brought the food to our table and went above and beyond with her service. She is incredibly attentive, very proficient, hardworking, and extremely efficient. It’s rare to see someone put so much effort and care into what they do. Gwen truly made our visit unforgettable!

Overall… never going back. Okay, so I’m a Liberty hill local and have finally tried this place. Firstly, the service was good. The waitress was quick. Atmosphere was to be expected for a bar. However, we ordered the “cheese board” and it was HORRENDOUS. I mean, just look at the pictures. This was not as described I was honestly sad to pay for it as we didn’t eat hardly a thing. I mean bring your white bread and miracle whip so you can make a ham sandwich using this board. Not to mention, the “fig jam” was most definitely the squeeze grape jelly. No crackers, just pizza crust to eat it with. I’m pretty sure they bought all their meat from the premade grocery store sections. Gross.

What a fantastic local find.
Liberty Hill Beer Market checks every box. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is comfortable, welcoming, and full of great energy. It has that perfect neighborhood feel with an awesome group of regulars and a staff that truly makes you feel at home.
The food was excellent. I had the sausage platter and risotto on my first visit—both were outstanding—and I enjoyed it so much I went back the very next day for lunch. The chili was incredible. Clearly a place that takes pride in its menu, not just the beer.
Speaking of beer… the tap list is impressive. So many great options that I honestly wished I could come back ten times just to try them all. If you’re a beer lover, this place is a dream.
Brian and Donna Leonard, the owners, are fantastic hosts—friendly, present, and clearly passionate about creating a great experience. You can feel that care throughout the entire space.
The atmosphere is spot-on: comfortable seating, super clean, TVs everywhere (no bad seat in the house if you’re watching a game), and the décor is off the charts. I even left with a sweatshirt because I loved the place that much.
And don’t miss the outdoor area—picnic benches, TVs outside, and even a play yard for kids. It’s such a cool setup for families. You can enjoy lunch, catch a game, and let the kids play safely nearby. Total win.
If you’re visiting or local, I can’t recommend this place enough. I’m so glad I found it and will absolutely be back.

We stopped by Liberty Hill Beer Market the other night for dinner and were really impressed with the changes. The new owner, Brian, came by and introduced himself—super nice guy with a clear vision to revamp the place and create a welcoming spot for locals to enjoy.

The food was very good, the wine selection was surprisingly extensive, and they were even showing the UFC fights, which made for a fun and lively evening.

We’ve been here before in the past, but honestly hadn’t returned in a couple of years because the previous ownership just didn’t feel very friendly or inviting. That’s completely changed now. You can tell Brian genuinely cares about making this a great neighborhood hangout.

We’re only about 5–6 minutes down the road, and after this experience, we’ll definitely be visiting more often. Excited to see what’s next for this local gem!

We just moved to Liberty Hill and this place has a play scape for kids, so we stopped to check it out. I was surprised at how tasty the food was. Have been here multiple times now and the service is great, food is delicious. Can’t speak to the ambience during the evening, since we have only been during lunch but definitely one our new favorite spots!

We came here for people coming from out of town for my daughter’s wedding. We had four tables. Each table had the five meat pizza and the margarita pizza. Also had the spinach and artichoke dip. Everything was awesome. Rose was our server. She was AMAZING!! I can’t speak highly enough for what she did for our group. She had all the tables ready when we got there, answered all our questions and was spot-on with service.

Living in the area I can tell you this is the best place to make friends, eat food, and be merry. The wings are great! Beer is cold, and mid 2000s cheap. They have the old Austin vibe down. Brian as the new owner has figured out what it is to be a liberty hill billy in the outskirts of Austin in the best formal way. 100% recommend. Kid and family friendly! There is no stranger here. Landmark of liberty hill.

The food was excellent. I was able to sample chicken wings, some pizza and a good friend had high remarks for the lasagna. That’s quite a variety and it was all excellent. Atmosphere is nice for a place with outdoor seating where kids can play and burn off some energy.

Overall great experience and would recommend for the variety of delicious food as well as a place for families.

We met family here to celebrate a birthday (our 1st visit). It looks like a great place to enjoy watching sports as there are quite a few large screen tvs. We chose to dine outside and the weather was perfect…large shade trees. We shared an appetizer and our entrees were Italian, Greek and American food. All delicious. Our birthday boy was gifted a free shot of marshmallow vodka.
As we were finishing up, the outdoor dining was filling up with large groups mostly families with kids. We will certainly return.
