Liberty Family Restaurant is located just at the Peru/LaSalle city limit sign, just over the bridge heading west.
Service is good here. The restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly. Most of the parking is located behind the restaurant and there’s 2 entrances/exits I saw. It’s a seat yourself restaurant.
The menu is typical for a family restaurant. You’ll find most of what you’d expect to find in it.
The food tasted fine, overall average. Many locals shuffled in and out, per the ratings, it appears to be a favorite among them.
I would come back here, but I’d probably try other restaurants in the area first.

Great experience. The hostess brought over a stack of coloring books and a cup of crayons for the kids. The food was great, hashbrowns and bacon cooked perfect. Staff was very friendly and prices are fair. I’d recommend coming for breakfast to anyone.

Such a cute vibe to the place! The Reuben I had was amazing, and our server was very attentive. The serving sizes are large and quite affordable for what you get. And a cup of soup comes with dinner orders! They also do all-day breakfast

Only waited a few minutes to get seated for breakfast. I love the taste and texture of the pancakes. Real good. I ordered the spinach and feta omelet. Pretty good except I wish the feta was inside the omelet instead on top. Seemed kinda flat instead of fluffy. Texas toast was real good. I had to ask for any preserves or jam. Recommend the American fries. Our waitress was nice and she came by numerous times to see if we needed anything. We will definitely go back.

Place was busy..but we were seated right away..fast and friendly service. Taste was good, however..wish the spinach, and mushrooms were fresh and not canned. Forgot a picture of the cinnamon roll..tasty wish it had just a little more icing.. over all.. we’d come back.

Ordered take out. 2 Pancakes and a cup of soup costs over $19. The soup was vegetable beef and there was not one piece of beef in the soup. Pancakes were mediocre at best. The people were nice and the place was clean but not great on the food.

Came here for breakfast and got the ribeye breakfast. Ribeye tasted alright. I was extremely impressed with my lightly done hashbrowns/toast since most places burn them. Server was good. Prices seemed reasonable

We seated ourselves for an excellent breakfast on a Tuesday morning after camping nearby. The server greeted us and took our drink order right away. She delivered our food just as efficiently and with the same genuine friendliness. We all got two delicious meals from our order, which was priced just right!

This place had everything right..I had a House Omelet with Gyro meat, tomato, onions, and Feta.. I topped it all with Sausage Gravy. With American Fries and a pancake it was way more then I needed and I left enough to feed another person !! LOL. All these tasted great. The decor and fixtures are dated if that will detract from your enjoyment, but that is the only non-A+. Friendly, accurate servers, reasonable prices. Enjoy !!
