Excellent diner with great Southern food. I had the country ham, scrambled eggs, biscuit and gravy. Other than needing a little salt for my taste, everything was excellent. Service was friendly and reasonably quick given the crowded time I was there.

Overall Thoughts: As a whole, I’d give this location 4.9 Stars. The staff has been there forever and seemingly know everyone that comes in. This place is the to Lewisville, what Cheers was to Boston. While there is nothing that is OVERWHELMING on the menu – you can’t go wrong with any choice you make

Stopped by for some food while traveling. It’s a country diner. Lots of fried foods and comfort foods. Not really my thing, but the food was fine. Kinda a funny place to eat. They stay true to their country theme, and our waitress was kind. Traveling with two young kids, we really leaned into the “family” in their name 😉 Probably won’t go back, but happy we went!

Excellent omelet! Server was just ok, if that. She wasn’t attentive and rushed me because it was a Saturday morning and she was eager to leave. She didn’t offer good customer service that day.
I will make sure I don’t get her as a server again and will ask for someone else.
The food is excellent, and some of the prices are actually reasonable.
I like the set up of the restaurant, but it can get very crowded quickly and can also be loud.

Loved everything about this place. Prices are decent, serving size was bigger than expected service was stellar.
Fried pork tenderloin was a bit dry and a bit tough. Could have been because I had it fried. I probably wouldn’t get the tenderloin again however, and it could have certainly been a “one off”. I will go here anytime I’m on that side of town.
Also someone else said “very small restaurant” I’m not sure why they would say that. I guess comparing it to a HUGE restaurant, then yeah… parking lot was rather full and when I went in there was plenty of tables avaliable

This place is everything you want in a cozy diner. The waitstaff is attentive and kind. We have only had their breakfast so far but everything was delicious. Amazing experience and we will be repeat customers.

Beautiful restaurant with the mini Statue of Liberty right outside next to the road welcoming you into it just like the real one does for those immigrating into the US since the owner came from Greece. Great and touching background story to it inside the menu on the last page. Food was great. Quiet and family friendly. I will come back if I’m ever in the area again.

My 87 year old father and I have gone to this location for over 15 years. And this morning we had our last breakfast there. The main waitress there, which coincidentally is also the manager thinks after you come in a couple of times she knows everything about what you want and when you come in she’s full of laughter, and that makes you feel, oh so welcome.
It’s all great there until you finally need something or something has to be fixed. And then your experience turns from great into, leaving their feeling horrible. Just like today mine and my dad’s bacon was not crispy, which is always how we want it. So when I let her know, she blankly stared at me. Since she did not respond that she would glady take the bacon to cook it somemore then picked my bacon up and showed her that the bacon was floppy and she told me not to flop my bacon at her. After that she went around talking to other customers about me flopping my bacon. She then tells me she will be back with a plate to put the bacon “MAM!”
I said I’m so tired of her being ugly to me, basically talking to my dad across the table from me, and then from behind me comes the voice of George, one of the regulars, who says he’s tired of it too. She’s going around laughing it up with other customers because that’s just what she does to cover up being ugly to one in particular. So I asked him if he was being serious because she was trying to laugh it up with him.He said, yes he was tired of her being ugly acting like that too.
I wrote her a nice note on the back have our bill, letting her know how I felt about it. I take a picture of it and I’m gonna post it on here. I kinda thought that maybe the owner of the place might see the ticket and read it, incase I didn’t have time to call them, but as we were getting in the car our came the waitress because she knew I asked for the owners name. She told me the owner was there if I wanted to speak to her.
