The appetizers were really good, but my main entry (pictured) was kind of bland. It was a really busy night so maybe that’s why? Also, the patio was kind of lack luster, felt like a quarantine tent.

This is one of those places I think you’re either impressed or not. If you’re okay with small portions that are a bit overpriced, then you’ll probably be impressed. The food is good, we shared the tuna Ceviche and the potatoes. My friend had an alcoholic drink, I had a mocktail and we shared a dessert- the bread pudding and ice cream which was delicious. The server was nice because from what I understood, they had recently taken it off the menu but she went back to see if they had more and they had a slice left. The desert for me was the best, most exciting part of the meal.

We went to Libertad with our out of town son and his family for brunch. His request based on his memory of many wonderful meals at this restaurant. Staff was extremely attentive. Brunch was not usual small plate menu. Almost every dish was great. We had a cold tuna appetizer that had chewy tuna that was not expected. I would give this 4.5 stars if I could.

What a great place! The welcoming atmosphere and intoxicating smells were drawing us in from the moment we got here. Our server was knowledgeable and kind. The food was fantastic, really incredible how much flavor they got into the chicken. Everything was really well thought out and we really appreciated the chill date atmosphere!

Don’t let the location fool you, this place is a hidden gem. The food and drinks are 10/10. This Latin American/ Mexican food is authentic yet elevated. There is so much flavor and it just melts in your mouth. The drinks take you back to original Mexico, real tequila and mezcal. Not watered down at all on the contrary they are strong !Overall love how lowkey this place is and you truly get to savor and enjoy your drink. Definitely worth the drive and will definitely be returning !

Came here last night for a solo dinner at the bar. The tequila/mezcal old fashioned was just fantastic, the shishitos with cotija cheese were probably the best shishitos I’ve ever had, and the chicken flautas were kind of perfect. Wonderful attentive service. I would come back anytime and in fact I’m looking forward to that already. Thank you!

Such a pleasant surprise! Food was delightful, service helpful and attentive and cocktails a lovely complement. I appreciated that the vegetarian options weren’t an afterthought. They were varied and filling. The desserts were a highlight – not too sweet and somehow light. I will 100% come back again, happily. I have one small note – char on the cauliflower would be nice. Other than that, I literally scraped every bit off the plate.

Made a reservation because we had a show at the theater across the street. The food was phenomenal! We first started with the Queso de Cabra & Patatas con La Huancaina. Of the 2 the queso was my favorite. The sauce had the right bit of heat & with the goat cheese they complimented each other. We finished with the Camarones & Flautas. Both were large portions for a tapas restaurant. The blue polenta was cooked perfectly & my husband even liked the shrimp! We accompanied our meals with a glass of Malbec & Carmenere & ordered the La Dragona but I’ve confirmed I don’t like mezcal so our waitress had another drink made right away. Great place for a date night! We’d love to come back if on the north side again. Compliments to the chef!
