First time at Libby’s and I was very impressed with the service and the food. I will definitely be back and will recommend it to friends and family. The food was prepared freshly and served in a timely manner and my fries were hot and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside just like I like them.

If you’re in historic Lexington, you have to check out Libby’s on Main Street. The place has a really nice vibe—cozy inside, and a cool patio outside. They serve awesome food like fresh sandwiches, wraps, and amazing gourmet pizza. The staff is super fast, but you’re not getting fast food—it’s all made to order with fresh ingredients. It’s a great spot.

So sad to be writing this review as we had previously visited Libbys and thought we had found a great spot. But the service we received today was absolutely terrible. Essentially, my husband and I ordered a burger and tenders, probably 2 of the simplest foods on the menu. Despite this, the food took a whole hour to come out. When I asked about it, the server almost immediately said we’d get a discount and dessert for the wait. (We weren’t asking for either. we just wanted our food. Nevertheless, we stayed). Long story short… food finally came out, taste was average, we get the check, no discount or dessert in sight. When we asked about the discount WE WERE PROMISED, we got a whopping $2 off our check. No dessert (at this point we didnt care we just wanted to pay and leave.
Honestly I just feel disrespected. The way they try to slip us the check without upholding their commitment and literally do the bare minimum when we held them accountable for what they said. I mean absolutely NO effort was made to try to improve our experience. Customer service was non-existent.
Oh, and when the food came out we were told well-done burgers take a while to cook. So there you have it folks… an hour for a well done burger.

Super cute restaurant decorated with adorable dog pictures all over the walls. The portions are huge and the food was delicious. Their loaded fries were so so yummy, could have made a meal off of those alone. Be prepared, the place is packed but the service is fast and friendly.

Ordered Philly cheese steak and fresh cut fries. Portions were good maybe better than expect although the fries were a tad bit overcooked. Sandwich was hot and tasty and came rather quickly.
Waitress was pleasant but not so attentive. The folks sitting to either side of me also tried a few times to get her attention. Prices were decent. Place was busy, had to wait maybe 5 minutes to be seated so no big deal. I’ll bring the wife next time.

Fun, comfortable environment. I got the calzone but didn’t love it. The price is for only cheese (too much cheese) and you need to add meats and other things for an extra cost. I wish they had calzone options with preset combinations that they know are fan favorites. I added sausage by itself which wasn’t great.

We had what I would call a perfect restaurant experience when we tried Libby’s this week. We just had a baby and this was our first date/outing with our little one and it will forever be an amazing and cherished memory for us. Our waitress, Ella, was very courteous, polite, knowledgeable about the menu, and attentive to us. Her service really elevated an already excellent experience.
The restaurant’s atmosphere was very relaxed, yet clean and orderly. The food was phenomenal. We had heard good things about Libby’s and were still surprised at how top-notch the food was. We split a large Greek salad, which was extremely fresh and had the most delicious dressing! We also split the Fat Tony and chose a side of fries with that, and split the Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap which came with a chosen side of the slaw.
Both entrees were astoundingly delicious. I was so surprised at how GOOD everything tasted. The portions were perfect. The food tasted so fresh and nourishing, while also being really satisfyingly filling. All of their sauces are made in house, and their ranch and also their vinaigrette are excellent. The fries were really good too; you could tell the oil they cook the fries in isn’t old, and they had this delightful mashed potato like consistency on the inside. The slaw was not overly sweet which was great but it was a tad mayonnaise-y for my personal preference (it was still really good). We are excited to try other menu items like the Philly cheesesteak, the Reuben, and a calzone or pizza in the future when we visit again.
Overall, HIGHLY recommend Libby’s. You will NOT be disappointed. This restaurant would absolutely boom in more food-centered towns like Savannah, Charleston, or Asheville in my opinion. Top tier and a home run in every category from food to service and atmosphere. Thank you, Libby’s (and Ella), for an amazing and memorable experience!!
