It is difficult to define exactly what l’Gueuleton means but the words ‘feast’, ‘food’, ‘family’, ‘friends’ and of course ‘wine’ help us to understand a concept that is inherently French. Since 2004 l’Gueuleton has served French Bistro cuisine at its finest. Combining quality Irish produce with French flair, l’Gueuleton offers a fantastic menu, matched with a perfectly balanced selection of wines.
Situated on the ground floor of the old Fade Street Tenements l’Gueuleton is a combination of exposed red brick walls, industrial beams, copper ceilings and wood floors.
Rustic red brick walled dining room with blackboard menus and dark wood furniture for a French menu.

The best breakfast I’ve ever had. Included in Kelly’s hotel proposal. Super delicious, huge portions, amazing coffee. Nice interior, gentle service. I am your fan from now on! What a pity, I am here just for a business trip..

Today I went for breakfast with my brother, everything was spectacular! We ordered the Irish breakfast and the eggs Benedict, and both dishes were delicious! The eggs were perfectly done, the flavors were great 100% recommended! One of the best breakfasts in Dublin.

Simple and succinct menu, but everything was delivered very well, and tasted wonderful. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The crab salad was so refreshing and light, loved that. I also had the rabbit and that was superb. Really deep rich sauce, you need a heavy red with it for sure. Tasted the fish dish and that was really light and tasty, especially the sauce with it. Great selection of wines. Overall a very good spot.

Deeply disappointed with their brunch offering. 2/3 dishes came out lukewarm, which was a pity as one of the was the Gambas & n’duja. Felt a bit peaky after. The flavours were mediocre at best. Be warned Shaksuka is not what it seems, basically cold ratatouille with poorly poached (practically boiled eggs). Would not recommended as it was very pricey for such disappointing food. Service was just as cold and staff were too busy chatting to pay attention to customers. Has the standard of service in Dublin just plummeted. Would’ve been happy to give a generous tip if the experience was even remotely decent. Really wanted this to be better. Shame.

Fantastic spot, food is delicious, steak was cooked to perfection, only thing is it can be a bit noisy and may be a bit hard to have a conversation incase that’s a worry but for us it was fine

Great atmosphere and service. The breakfast is big and taste, there is a very nice seletion to choose from. It did take a little longer than usual to come but it was worth the waiting. We definitely would go back.

I came with 6 friends on Saturday morning & I had the full Irish breakfast which was included in my stay at the hotel around the corner. I have to say that this was potentially the best breakfast of any kind I have ever had in my 35 years of existence. Everything on that plate was superb !!! Well done.
