The cook doesn’t cut corners when it comes to cooking, they showed up to work ready to serve the best quality, and it shows. I’m completely blown away and impressed by the level of authenticity of this place!!
The food is a 20 out of 10 internationally for a specialty mixed grill!!! Perfect amount of salt, perfect tenderness, it’s not dry like other restaurants, and I’ve had the worst around Cincinnati lol
The yogurt drink is the authentic middle eastern flavor of yogurt, which was shocking, the sourness and the kick in the drink is something I couldn’t find anywhere else, hands down best yogurt drink!
The tea looks imported, very fragrant and fresh, not too light, and not too dark.
I ordered the Kibbeh and I expected to get JUST kibbeh, but they served us a huge bowl of salad, seasoned nicely, and the authentic yogurt dip, i can’t speak enough about the consistency of the yogurt dip, it was perfect!
Everything tasted fresh, you can tell they wash their produce before they serve it.
The place is so cozy and clean, i loved the ambiance! And the patio area is so cute ☺️
Overall, I can’t stress enough how impressed I am by the high quality of food served here, totally recommend this place. it’s real authentic Kurdish food. Definitely going back to try more items!❤️
If you want delicious fresh tasting food, this is def the place for you!
We started with the grape leaves, which were excellent, and the flatbread with olive oil they bring out at the start was amazing. Warm, pillowy, and honestly hard to stop eating. Even our kids, 2 years old and 10 months, loved it. My wife ordered the cabbage rolls, I had the gyro doner, and both were outstanding. The kids got mac and cheese, and it was clearly made with care, not just an afterthought.
What really stood out was how kind and thoughtful the staff were with our kids. They brought the kids’ food out early so it could cool down before we started eating and gave them special attention that made us feel genuinely welcome, not like we were those people with little kids.
We took baklava to go, and wow. Unbelievably airy, sweet, and perfectly balanced. One of the best we’ve had.
The atmosphere is unique and incredibly welcoming. It doesn’t feel like a chain restaurant at all. It feels more like being invited into a friend’s home. The staff keep that feeling going with their attentiveness and kindness, and it makes the whole experience something special.
Can’t recommend Leyla enough. We’ll absolutely be back next time we’re in town.
Have you ever gone into a place and felt so immediately and warmly welcomed that feeling like family doesn’t even begin to describe it?
The food is delicious, portions are generous and artfully presented. Emma and Comert are both friendly and accommodating.
Get the cold appetizer and mixed grill and try it all! You will not be disappointed!
The customer service was unbelievably rude from the moment we walked in. It felt like we were bothering them just by being there. The staff acted as if we were outsiders, not paying customers, and the attitude never improved.
The food was disappointing—bland, low quality, and absolutely not worth the price. And then comes the shocker: a 25% gratuity added automatically. That’s absurd, especially when the service is this bad. Gratuity is supposed to reward good service, not force customers to pay extra for a bad experience.
As soon as we finished eating, they made it very clear they wanted us gone. No thank you, no courtesy—just a vibe like we were in their way although we gave them business for 280$ which were truly a waste of money at this place
Save your time and your money. Plenty of better places around that actually appreciate their customers.
