I don’t write reviews that often but this place is amazing. It’s kinda tucked away, me and my friend found it while walking around. One of those hidden gems of a place. The service was great and the food was amazing! We got a medium Al Capone with pineapple. So good!!

Tried this place as it is new to the area and wanted to see if it can live up to the name… it did not disappoint at all. I ordered the John Dillenger pizza and it was packed with fresh toppings. The pizza had the perfect crust and was not too oily either. I would highly recommend this place and look forward to going back to try their other menu options!!

Ordered a meat stromboli and a custom pizza “to-go”. The stromboli was full of toppings and very tasty. The custom “Blanco” white pizza was also delicious. We ordered olive oil, garlic, spinach, mozz, pecorino and chicken on it. It turned out perfect. The dough was very flavorful, just thin enough, and had a nice chew to it. I’m originally from near Philadelphia, and this is what good pizza and stromboli should taste like.

Little pizza shop tucked away in a bagel shop (temporarily)

Ironically by the name, this was one of the worst pizza experiences we’ve had.

I walked in, lights were so dim almost seemed off. Had to double-take and make sure they were actually open or just accidentally left the door unlocked.
After verifying the hours, i walked up to the order counter. Not a single person was present, and there was no bell or anything to announce presence.

After waiting about 3-5 minutes, a lady came out of the back carrying another order for two people sitting at a table. She came back to the P.O.S and simply asked what I wanted. No greeting, no hospitality. Just straight to the point.
After placing my order, i was quoted 25 minutes.

I came back 20 minutes later to pick up my order. Coming back in, there was seemingly a larger party seated in the middle of the restaurant. I walked to the checkout again and waited. Finally a lady seated at the table got up and again, just asked what I was wanting.

After telling her I’m picking up an order under my name, she asked yet again what i wanted. Then clarified, and asked what I ordered. Whats the point of using names on orders if youre just going to ask what i ordered.

After everything i finally got my food.

We open it up, and it looks fairly regular.
The cheesesticks, however, were luke warm and weirdly breaded. Whatever, every place does it different.

The star of the show, the pizza, was exceptionally crunchy in the bottom, and somehow extremely thick and way too chewy in the rest of the crust.
The cheese was lackluster and didnt taste like any quality was present, same to every other topping we had received. Chicken was weirdly spongy, and almost tasted like shrimp.
Pepperoni was boring, and the mushrooms were extremely soggy.

Going based off other reviews, i cannot believe that this was made in a stone oven. It has the same amount of cornmeal as papa johns uses, and the lack of browning ontop of the crust insist its a simple commercial oven and not a stone or wood oven.

Honestly the worst part of this was that 2 small personal pizzas, and cheese sticks somehow costs near 40 dollars. If youre charging that much money for 2 2 topping small pizzas, then you should be able to afford quality in the toppings.

Genuinely some of the most disappointing and lackluster pizza experiences we’ve ever had. From the service and hospitality, to the food.

This place is amazing and seriously the best pizza in Lexington. I got the cannoli for the first time tonight and it was like taking a trip back in time. The service was quick and efficient and I walked out happy with my purchase, I will be returning to try the lunch specials when I work from home and don’t feel like cooking lunch.

We would give it 5 stars, but the toppings stopped about 2 inches away from the edge of the pie, leaving way too much crust.

We have a standing order every week for events at my store! Tonya always gets it done and it’s always great! She never goes home between the bagel shop and the pizza shop and catering she’s always coming up with new ideas like the apple pie (pie) is now a fan favorite at my store! Definitely a gem here in Lexington.

I got a large pepperoni and a large cheese, with cheesy garlic bread. The food was pretty good and I’m pretty picky over pizza. Competitively priced with others in the area. I would’ve gave them a 5 star food review if the person in the back was wearing proper PPE ( person protective equipment) such as gloves with ready to eat food. If this gets resolved I will most definitely be eating here again.

Pizza is bland, we got “extra cheese” and could not see or taste that we ordered extra. Veggie pizza tasted like tomato pizza and had few other toppings. So disappointing!
