Visited tonight! This was our first time exploring Nigerian cuisine and we really liked it! Specially Suya! Wow! Must try if you can take spicy food… it was intensely hot for us but I couldn’t stop eating either ! Great ambience! Service was good too! The food is worth visiting again!

Beautiful space, would definitely come again! The jerk chicken wings were delicious; a sweet and smoky jerk sauce. The jollof rice wasn’t to my liking but no complaints as the chicken wings and fries made up for it

Went here last night with my friend. It was a pleasant experience! The staff were all very nice and welcoming, and the server was helpful with giving suggestions also.
Loved the atmosphere and would have loved to try some drinks, they sound yummy! Would be a great place to just come sit and drink and hang out for sure.
We had the party jollof plate, loved the chicken wings on the plate! Best chicken wings I’ve had honestly. And we had it with the spinach, all of it was great! We also tried the Egusi soup with pounded yam (Fufu). The beef inside it was tender and really good. The over all dish had a fishy smell/flavor that since I’ve never tried this dish before I didn’t know about. So I personally couldn’t eat much of it because I’m not huge on that type of flavor, but I still tried it and ate the meat inside it! Was worth the experience! I’m wondering if the Efo Riro is the same or not, I’d like to try it!
Next time I’ll definitely try some other things, the flavors were good, and try out the drinks!

Nigerian restaurant I went to while visiting St Louis. The ambiance was cute and modern. The basement where the restrooms are located could use better lighting because it’s dark and kinda spooky down there lol. Overall I would def come here again. The ayamase was really good and spicy but the oil was too much. Portion was very good as well

I had such a great experience at Levels! From the moment we walked in, the staff were genuinely warm and welcoming.

The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish we tried was flavorful and seasoned perfectly. We had the Smokey Jollof rice, plantains, suya, and egusi soup, and boy we devoured everything. It was that good!

The ambiance is beautiful, and I especially loved the artwork. It adds so much character to the space and makes the whole place feel stylish and unique.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I’ll definitely be going back with my family. Highly recommend!

I heard about Levels through a friend and decided to try it, especially since I’d never had fufu before. The place was really nice different from any restaurant I’ve been to in Illinois. The vibe was laid-back, casual, and fun. The food was great, too.

There were just a couple things that stood out. My friend had her baby with her, but there wasn’t a high chair available. Also, there were four bathroom doors, but only one would open I was low-key scared to close it because I thought I’d get locked inside . That might be something to work on.

The waitress did mix up our order at first, but she fixed it quickly. Nobody’s perfect mistakes happen. Overall, everything was still great and I’d definitely come back.

I made a reservation to visit this establishment on June 14, 2025. My wife and I arrived before our reservation time which was at 6:00 pm and we waited about 15 minutes before someone came to greet and seat us. There were two other parties that I guess made reservations at the same time so the hostess looked really overwhelmed, however she worked it out and started asking us all questions about our reservations and seating. Between ourselves and other party waiting at the same time, we were asked if we would like to be seated downstairs or upstairs. We chose the upstairs because we felt it might be more intimate, and it was okay. The art work was very nice and was a wonderful talking point while we waited for service. The tables could be a bit bigger, or at least longer to support if you would like to order a number of dishes. We waited for about 22 minutes before anyone came to get us drinks. I honestly am the one that is very critical of restaurants because in my experience, well ran restaurants have a system of how they operate to keep the flow of a great dining experience, so I was ready to walk out. She wanted to stay because she really wanted to try this place, so we stayed. Our server, a very upbeat, and knowledgeable young man came to service us and I appreciate him asking how long we had been there. I told him we have been seated for 22 minutes. He promptly apologized and asked us for our drink orders. He hurried and got the drinks, which we had two waters, and I ordered some kind of lemon berry cocktail. It was really good. When he returned, we had questions about some of the dishes and he was very detailed and patient. He even suggested dishes he thought were very good. My wife ordered the whole fish with veggies, and I ordered the goat with veggies. When the food came to the table it looked very good, however, my rice and veggies were ice cold! We also had to eat with plastic utensils, because well as the server said, people take the silverware!IDK, just what we were told! ‍♂️ I notified the server about my dish and proceeded to eat just the goat, which was very good. During our meal, I was bit turned off and annoyed because some of the other parties from downstairs came up to view the art work and just to take a look around the upstairs. I was annoyed because I didn’t like people walking past my food and drinks. They should direct their customers to come upstairs using only the front staircase to avoid this type of issue because that just didn’t sit right with me. My wife’s entree was very good though and she enjoyed it. The server accommodated the issue with my entree which I was very pleased because he was very apologetic. All in all, my personal opinion, I would be okay with not returning. My experience wasn’t one that so many people post online as spectacular! A lot of them notify these businesses that they are food bloggers in the order to get the spectacular experience. This obviously can’t be said for people that spend their hard earned money just to enjoy good food.

This is my first time in town, and as I was exploring the area, I saw this unassuming entrance to Levels. It gave me local small restaurant vibes. I decided to give it a try since it said Nigerian cuisine, and I never had it before.

Wow! The inside is so nice, with a second level featuring works from local artists. Honestly, it kinda gave me a little bit of a speakeasy vibe. The place is decorated in green and white. I see what you did there !

I was seated at the bar, and the lovely Iffie served me a great cocktail and recommended I get the Party Jollof. It was really good! A good serving of rice accompanied by plantains, spinach, and to her recommendation, chicken. Amazing taste and a little spicy, just how I like it. I highly recommend it.

Overall, the food was really good and the staff was even better. Everyone was super friendly, welcoming, and even gave me a little extra snack since they knew it was my first time trying Nigerian food.

Thank you, Iffie and everyone at Levels!

Our recent visit to Levels Nigerian Restaurant was nothing short of refreshing—especially as part of a birthday celebration. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed like family. The staff was incredibly accommodating and engaging throughout the evening, making the night truly memorable.

We had the pleasure of enjoying authentic Nigerian cuisine for the first time, and every bite left us wanting more. We’re already planning to return—and bringing all our friends and family with us! The drinks were top notch, with the perfect Lagos flair.

And just when we thought the night couldn’t get any better, the restaurant transformed into a vibrant nightclub. It was the perfect surprise ending. Levels truly lives up to its name—a level of its own.
