Level Zero is serving up some of the best smash burgers around. That crisp edge on the patty is exactly what you want, the cheese is on point, and every bite hits. You can tell they care about the details.

The team is cool and genuinely helpful with recommendations, which makes the whole experience better. I also love the décor—it’s fast-casual, but still stylish and fun, not your typical grab-and-go spot.

The fries are solid, the shake was fantastic, and everything came out quick and fresh. Definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to and one I’m happy to highlight as @DonnyLB (IG/TikTok).

We stopped by Level Zero Smash Burgers in W. Dearborn with a group of 6 around 2am, and it was a great experience. We ordered a variety of items, including the jalapeño burger, a chicken sandwich, and a couple of OG smash burgers, and everything was delicious. The burgers were fresh, flavorful, and hit the spot late at night. The staff was fast, efficient, and great overall, making the visit even better. Definitely a solid late-night spot that we’d come back to again!

12/4/25: This was my 2nd time being here. First time I ate in; got the Nashville Hot Chicken, the single OG(basic cheeseburger, pickles + sauce(guessing mayo+ketchup)), salted fries, and a strawberry milkshake. Some days later, I tried a double OG, a Jam & Smash(cheeseburger with sweetish bbq sauce, beef bacon, and onion spread) with fries.

Smashburgers were great; nice and crusty on the edges, but the center was still rather moist. I feel like the bun doesn’t hold the burger too well though, it just seems flimsy as a burger bun. The J&S had a good flavor to it, maybe a bit too sweet, but overall the bbq sauce complements the crustiness of the burger real well. I would recommend getting at least a double; I feel that a single just isn’t enough meat-to-bread ratio, given how flat these burgers are.

Chicken sandwich was really good; juicy with a bit of a kick. The slaw contrasts the spiciness of the chicken well, but like the burger, the bun just doesn’t hold up too well in my opinion. Also its less ‘chicken sandwich’ and more “large chicken strip in a bun”, so while it was sloppy, it was still good.

Fries were nicely salted, but on both occasions(1 which was dining in), the fries were not crisp, so that’s kind of a big demerit for me. Milkshake was good, but nothing mindblowing; just a standard soft-serve milkshake.

Their burger is very very flat, and that gives it a niche that makes it good, but I still think Iceburg(on Outer Drive/Pelham) crafts a bit of a better product, far as its smashburger, fries, and shakes, though its not in the heart of downtown Dearborn. Still can’t go wrong with Level 0 if you are downtown Dearborn and looking for a crusty burger to fill your palate.

By far the best smash-burger place in Michigan. The flavor profile of not only the burgers, the other products on the menu are on point. Best burger for me is the bacon jam.

Pro-tip: If you want to add a little spice to bacon jam burger, ask them to add jalapeño, it becomes a combination of their two top burgers.

The burgers here are delicious and their signature sauce tastes amazing! I came for the $10 deal served on Tuesdays and I recommend you do the same. Won’t disappoint. I will be back. The customer service is excellent and there’s no wait.

We tried the OG double patty with fries, and it did not disappoint. The patties were perfectly smashed—crispy on the outside yet juicy and flavorful inside. The fries were fresh, salty, and delicious, pairing perfectly with the house sauce, which was just as good on the burger as it was for dipping. A great spot if want to try a classic smashed burger done right.

The absolute best burgers in Michigan. Jam n Smash burger is 10/10. Everything is wow. It’s so good, I’m going to inquire about being a franchisee. It’s that good.

The jalapeño burger was great. Nothing beats fresh jalapeños. I got double meat on mine (recommend). I was originally just going to get the regular fries but i opted to get the cheese fries (about $2 more). They were mid and hardly any cheese. Definitely will be back for the smash burger.
