Middling overall.
The food was delicious, but the sizes left a lot to be desired. Even at that, we were told were 7 minutes too late for the brunch menu, and that multiple items were off from the regular menu. At $46 with one soda we left not quite full. Waitress was on the bar also, with 4 customers, and definitely forgot about us. We waved someone else down to get our check when it was time to go. Really just won’t be returning.

Got the Mac & Cheese as an app and it was delicious! Breadcrumbs on Mac & cheese are always a nice touch. I had the smash burger as my entree and it was hands down one of the best burgers I’ve had in a very long time (maybe ever). Def get the pickles! 10/10 experience with the staff as well. Will be coming back!

Stopped in to have cocktail before our dinner reservation up the street. The specialty cocktails were amazing. We also had a glass of wine from their very nice HH menu. Our bartender Sam was great! Fun conversation!
When we left I forgot a gift bag and Sam actually came up the street to the restaurant to give it to us!!!! That’s going above and beyond in my book. Can’t wait to go back and enjoy the menu!

Food was good. My burger was tasty. The wings were excellent. Steak frites got rave reviews! Fast service. We had lunch in the dining area but the bar looked like a good place for drinks.

So my family just got dinner at Letty’s Tavern on their opening night and it rocked. We recently moved from West Chester because the college vibe kinda overwhelmed the whole scene but we were missing the restaurants there big time. Most of the restaurants we’ve been to in Kennett Square so far were on the stuffy side and served food that I haven’t eaten since the 80’s. Their drinks were garbage too. Letty’s restored a historic house and redid the whole inside. Looks great! The servers were attentive and could make credible recommendations on the menu. The food was ridiculously great and had inspired spins on traditional food like an Asian style fried chicken sandwich. The drinks were strong, modern and tasty. The owner’s partner was the Pastery chef so we tried the cake and was moist and yummy. My wife and I were dueling with our forks over the last piece. The owner (Jacob) stopped by to all the tables and checked on how folks were doing. Love to see the passion of a new business owner who really cares about his customers. Ballsy for them to open with COVID still killing business left and right. Show this dude some support and enjoy a kick ass meal while you’re at it.

Another lunch/dinner date with my food friend April! This time we brought her grandson Michael with us. Our server Kare was awesome, very nice, attentive, and made some great suggestions.
We all started with a bowl of Mushroom soup. We were all a little startled when we got it and it wasn’t a cream based soup haha! But, it was delicious! Packed with mushrooms and the broth had so much flavor with a bit of a kick to it as well. Michael and I both picked up our bowls to drink every last drop of it!
April had the pasta dish of the day, I believe it was the Cavatelli, delicious! Pasta was cooked perfectly, the sauce was full of flavor and the mush just made it all that much better.
Both Michael and I had the Italian Dip, mine with fries and his with salad, that we naturally just shared . The dip was very good, it was made with pork and had perfectly cooked broccoli rabe. The aju though, made the sandwich! As the aju always does with a dip. The layers of flavor were just perfect!
The fries were also great, seasoned with just the right amount of salt and pepper, the salad came with a very nice, refreshing, light dressing that was much appreciated on a hot day!
April’s Cosmo was made just the way she likes, and when she switched to her vodka martini she was just as happy with that. Michael and I both had a beer, lager for him and an IPA for me. Both cool and refreshing and my IPA was delightfully hoppy.
Will definitely visit here again!

Consistently amazing food and drinks! The atmosphere is always positive, chill and the staff is always kind, welcoming and friendly. Highly, highly recommend Letty’s! My absolute favorite dish here is The Halibut. I travel a lot and Letty’s is on par with some of my favorite Vegas, LA & NYC food and cocktail spots. Everything on the menu is exceptional!

We came for brunch right when the restaurant opened and were the first table seated. The host was excellent and very welcoming, but our server, Maddie, was the opposite. It took 10 minutes just to be greeted, another 10 for drinks, and she never checked on our food or cleared dishes. The restaurant wasn’t busy — she spent most of the time on her phone or chatting with coworkers. For the high prices, the service was extremely disappointing, and I wouldn’t return.
