Light and bright. Very interesting concept of the decent salads along with the selection of the good soups (Tomato Basil Soup over salted though), variety of noodles and choice of crispy-fried sandwiches. All in all you can get yourself half-and-half, and try them all.

I’m addicted to this place! And seems others are too, as it is usually packed at lunchtime especially on weekdays. Delicious food made with fresh, high quality ingredients. Lots of options for different dietary needs.

I come here often as my office is across the street at COMPASS. Here’s what I like about Lettuce and what brought me back often:

This place is very addicting. They have great salads, soups, pastas and customer service. Dining in experience was wonderful. Take out food was kinda not filled up all the way. But overall it was a great experience.

For something fast, relatively tasty, good portion size, and medium price point, it hits all the points. It also is clean, and the workers were very friendly. It had vegetarian options although meat was available there. I would say for a quick lunch or brunch during the work week, or I stop before you head out to the airport, which I did with my mom, it’s a good location. She’ll be back, try it out see what you think.

Everyone always wishes for a restaurant to grab a quick salad and soup. Lettuce is just that place but they also offer a small selection of pastas and sandwiches so there really is something for everyone. Plus, the half n half combo might be the best deal in all of Walnut Creek. I love the Napa salad or the Big Cobb salad plus the Butternut Squash soup. Perfect for any day of the week and any season of the year. The owners are great and the service is superb.

We usually enjoy eating at Lettuce (decent salad) but today’s experience really changed our view about this restaurant. The indoor chairs are cheaply made and the floor is not properly maintained. My sister-in-law (a small woman) was holding our 8 month old on her lap while sitting on the plastic chairs when the chair slipped and she feel on the ground. She took a bad impact as she landed on the ground but she kept our child safe by protecting the fall. We were all in shock. The floors are slippery and the chairs have a very bad grip. The worst part about it all was that nobody on the staff even acknowledged what happened or checked on us, even though we were sitting right across from the checkout line. We love to dine across the world and I can not say that I have ever experienced anything like this before. Your customer’s safety should be your first priority and the staff should be aware of what is going on around the restaurant; From the condition of the seats, floor and events that occur while customers are dining.

Delicious salads! We had C.E.O. and Sonoma – yum! The first was a bit sour (vinegar + capers), the other – sweet (orange, pear…)

Let me first say I REALLY like Lettuce. I’ve been coming here for about 2 years and the salads and sandwiches never disappoint…until yesterday. I typically order the Pink Lady salad and the Wharf sandwich. Yesterday, I knew parking would be a hassle so I ordered online so my husband could run in and pick it up. It was his first time there so he stood in ine instead of going to the counter. He came out we headed home. It wasn’t until we arrived hand took the salad out the bag that I discovered the container was only half full. Considering he watched them make salads he also was surprised with the quantity and quality. I think it would have barely been a half. It may seem dramatic but my feelings were hurt. I’ve shared how awesome this place was with so many people and to receive a partial salad was unfortunate to say. Definitely not worth the $14.28 this time. So if you order ahead make sure to check the contents before driving off to enjoy it.

Laura does a incredible job running this business! The food is top tier and no matter how busy they are, my pick up order is always on time. Don’t even get me started on the pastries, all of them are made in house and the pastry chef does an amazing job. There’s a reason I keep coming back, keep up the great work Laura!
