What a cute little place for dinner. We were visiting town to see family and decided we wanted something with a salad bar. I had the split pea and ham soup – amazing for a chilly night. The salad bar had a good variety of choices. My wife had the egg salad on French bread, it was huge! My sister had a yummy cranberry and turkey sandwich, while my brother in law had a classic BLT. All delicious. We finished with a fresh baked brownie. Perfect. I would recommend this place.

Pretty basic salad bar and sandwich spot. The one-trip salad bar feels limiting, especially for the price ($8.50 for a very small plate and $13.99 for a medium plate). They also charge $0.99 to use a card, which adds up. There are definitely better salad options nearby for the same or even lower price. That said, the burgers were actually pretty good. Didn’t try the sandwiches, seems like they’d be tasty. Just an average experience overall.

We stopped by this cozy neighborhood restaurant and tried the chicken salad and cheeseburger. The cheeseburger was solid, juicy, and hit the spot. But the chicken salad was a letdown. It was tasteless and served in a flour-crusted bowl, which isn’t gluten-friendly at all because we didn’t assume that. The service was awesome, super friendly and welcoming. The food was kinda subpar, but the staff made it a pleasant visit.

Always great food. They do the sandwiches how I want them. Fresh bread and fresh cut fries. My favorite is the pastrami sandwich. One fry combo covers two peoples worth.

This was a great lunch spot and exactly what we were looking for.
I had a half sandwich, egg salad on rye, which was tasty. Only complaint is that it would have been nice if I could have had the bread toasted, but I also didn’t ask!
I also had a salad from the salad bar- loads of options. Enormous Philly steak sandwich!

I had high hopes walking in.
It seems like old joints like this usually have the greatest food, but this place was just “okay.”
My wife ordered a Reuben, which was pretty good. Not to die for, but a solid Reuben nonetheless. Can’t go wrong there.
I thought I’d try something unexpected, so I did a half salad with an egg salad sandwich.
What is typically such a basic dish, the price of this egg salad sandwich mirrored the price of a Turkey club. As such, I assumed they had their own fun spin on it to make it worth the price.
Nope. Just a regular egg salad on some dry bread. Nothing fancy about it. Which is fine. Feels overpriced though.
The salad bar wasn’t as fresh as I hoped it would be. We walked in around 5, so maybe we just didn’t have very good timing for that, as it seems the items had been sitting out for quite a while. Tasted fine, just not very fresh.
Overall, I think I might return one more time to try something else, because the Reuben leads me to believe they have some decent options here.

What a delicious little mom and pop shop to come have lunch! The soup is delicious. If you enjoy tomato soup, their tomato rice soup is as good as it gets. It’s creamy and packed with flavor. Their sandwiches are always made fresh, the bun is warm, and the cheese is melted to perfection. What really stands out at this restaurant is their fresh cut french fries. Hands down the best fries in town. Definitely my favorite fries I’ve ever had. The salad bar always has fresh veggies and great dressing. I highly recommend coming in for lunch!

First time here, okay, nice salad bar but a bit pricey for only one time through and the only protein was eggs, no chicken, ham or any other meat/poultry.
Very low key and no frills. A nice looking offering of desserts and plenty of sandwich choices.
