My dining experience at Lettuce Cook was fantastic. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and it’s clear that a tremendous amount of thought goes into every dish.
The flavors were perfectly balanced, and everything tasted incredibly fresh. My seared scallops were cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. What truly set my visit apart was the impeccable service; the staff was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely passionate.

If you havent had time to talk to Mrs Brown you should ! Shes great, down to heart and has a serving heart!! Great atmosphere, good parking. To be honest theres nothing bad to say about all of it!!

I have been there twice and it was amazing both visits. The salads are awesome!!! This place is a pleasant change from the big chain restaurants. The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. The people are extremely personable, and that truly enhances the atmosphere and the food. Go by and enjoy a quiet moment.

I’ve enjoyed Lettuce Cook in the past, but my most recent visit was disappointing. The sandwich I ordered did not taste fresh—the meat in particular seemed old and unpleasant. We mentioned this politely at the front, but instead of addressing the concern, the owner became defensive and said not to come back. That kind of reaction to honest feedback was surprising and unprofessional. Wont be coming back.

I wish I can express just how amazing this place is. It’s like a hidden gem! I love this place so much it’s honestly become an addiction. The aesthetic of this place is so cute, and the people are very sweet. And omg the food is AMAZING! They have SOOO many food options it’s ridiculous. From breakfast items, smoothies, deviled eggs, deserts, beer, wine, energy drinks, fresh fruit, salad, gluten free options, ect. I still haven’t managed to try everything. Maybe only 15% of the menu lol. They’re always making new desserts and pastries and if you ever get the chance to walk in when they just made them and put them on display, you can see the time and love they put on making them . This place has that homemade grandmother feel lol.
Also if you get the chance, try their homemade granola bars, They’re huge and delicious!

4th time here, and all those prior visits were incredibly good, with sandwiches prepared fresh and hot for me on the spot…but, the difference with this visit was to experience their ” gourmet grab and go” choices. The two chefs leave at 4pm and I strolled in shortly after. So, my choices were in the cold cases. There were many, but, being a crisp fall day…I landed on their Chicken Dumplings Soup and the White Truffle Mac & Cheese. Wow! I dined in since I’m retired, they warmed it up for me, and suddenly it felt like my Mom just served me a hot fresh bowl of goodness! Finished up with some gloriously fresh chocolate mousse cake. Oh, if you’re not aware of this wonderful place, you’ll drive right past it… DON’T!

I have been going to Lettuce Cook since the day they opened. I even used to live in the apartments right next to the restaurant, so I’ve been a loyal customer for years and have recommended them to many of my friends.
This time, however, was a completely different experience. I ordered my usual sandwich, the Turks N’ Durks, to go. Once I got in my car, I started eating right away because I was very hungry. After just a few bites, I realized something was seriously wrong—the turkey tasted spoiled. I even had to spit it out twice because it was so bad.
I called the restaurant to let them know, and they told me they would call me back, but I never received a call. Since I was still hungry, I decided to go back in person, hoping to either get a replacement or a refund. I even took the food back with me to show them that I couldn’t eat it. The cashier said it wasn’t up to her and that the owner would have to call me back, as he was “tied up.” I explained that I wasn’t trying to cause trouble, I just wanted to eat something else because my food was not edible.
At that point, the owner came out (clearly having overheard the entire conversation). Instead of listening, he immediately cut me off and said in a very rude and dismissive tone, “I’ve never even seen you here before.” Before I could finish explaining, he shoved $15 at me and added, “And do me a favor and don’t come back again.”
I have never experienced such unprofessional and disrespectful treatment—especially from an owner! To dismiss a loyal customer, accuse me of never coming in, and then tell me not to return instead of addressing the issue is unacceptable.
I don’t even like to take the time to write reviews, but this one had to be done. Sadly, after years of supporting and recommending this place, I will never go back and will no longer recommend it to anyone. Good food means nothing when it’s paired with such terrible customer service. Do yourself a favor and avoid dealing with this type of behavior!

Great food and staff. The do have to go items so you don’t have to cook. I just wish it had more seating. Always a good selection of treats to choose from.i love their salads.
