The soup was amazing. A special plus for the fact that there were almost no tough lemongrass stalks, which you usually have to pick out.
I also got a Vietnamese sandwich. It was excellent as well: a super soft bun, tender pork that tasted like homemade ‘buzhenina’ (home-style baked pork), and a fresh salad with a great sauce.
The sandwich came with a salad and french fries. Unfortunately, they wouldn’t let me substitute the fries for either rice or an extra portion of salad—they were pretty inflexible about that. The fries themselves were also quite bland, so you can easily skip them.
But overall, it was a great experience, especially the soup and the sandwich!
When driving by the spot it looks like it’s a liquor store because a big liquor sign is right above the restaurant name but that’s the actual restaurant. I walked in on a week day mid afternoon and there was only one couple inside. The staff was very friendly and asked what I wanted. I told them Chicken Pho to go and they had it ready for me in less than 10 min. I asked for extra sauce and they gave it to me no problem.
When I got home and tried the Chicken Pho I was a little disappointed in the broth. All though it’s good, it’s a little bland compared to the others I’ve tasted in LA. The chicken was too. I’m glad I asked for the extra sauce because it definitely needed it. The portions were big and I was very satisfied after eating.
Although it was a bit bland, I would still come here in a jam. The people were nice and like I said it’s good if you add the sauce to the pho. Maybe the other items on the menu are better, try it out for yourself and see!
Weird part is u have to find the restrooms via the connecting mini mart. But cool place, will be back when I’m in the area again.

Turned my 9 year old onto pho here like 2 weeks ago, he loved it (and he can be a picky guy)!
I classify this place as a “you need to know” spot, if you’re looking for pho anywhere near here, this is your guy.
I had the shrimp spring rolls to start, lots of extra veggies on the plate, airy and light, the lettuce had a clean crisp crunch, and shrimp was delicious.
The combination pho was large, the broth was rich and piping hot, lots of deep flavor, plenty of beef, tendon and tripe, swirling around with the noodles. Lots of extra condiments on the plate to add to your bowl.
All in all, a wonderful dinner experience!!!
