Let it Fly is hands down one of the best spots around! The food was on point, the energy was great, and the service made it even better. Dwayne kept the drinks flowing and the conversation fun — easily one of the best bartenders I’ve had in a long time. Manager Meg checked in to make sure everything was perfect, and you can tell she truly cares about the experience. 10/10 — can’t wait to come back!

My boyfriend made reservations for 12 at 5 pm, for a surprise birthday get together for me. We arrived around 5:15 pm. My friends were already sitting down and most had ordered drinks and food already. We ended up with 15 showing up, including us. 2 not planning to eat. It was kaos from the beginning. The waitstaff had no clue what they were doing and either did the bar staff. After 45 minutes, most still had not received their drinks, and food was being brought out sporadically and sometimes not what was ordered or was for another table. Took me over 30 min to get a waitress to ask us what we wanted to drink. I had to flag someone down to take our food order (still had not brought our drinks.) I ordered the kids chicken strips with fruit, boyfriend got chicken strips with fries. I had ordered a dirty vodka martini. I had to send it back 2x because, one was a gin martini (served in a goblet with no olives) next one was just awful and the color of apple juice. Too much olive juice.) Our friend was served a dirty in a plastic cup!! When my food came out, I started to eat my fruit. Then stopped. They had served me moldy fruit!!! Who even lets that happen? Absolutely disgusting. One friend had ordered a side salad, she got it 30 min AFTER finishing her main course. It consisted of lettuce and 1/2 of a cherry tomato. Unacceptable. Bad experience all together. Heard other tables complaining due to similar situations. When one person in our party complained to management she was told “the whole evening was ruined because or reservation was for 9 (the reservation was for 12, as their table marking even stated.) And we had more people show up!” Excuse me? 3 extra people with 2 that didn’t eat and went to the bar to get their own drinks! Who handles a complaint by blaming the customers??? This place had just gotten its liquor license back, also. Probably should just close down and train/hire better staff. Gave 1 star and thats being generous. None of us will ever be back, which is sad. Its nice having a place to eat before shows at the Astro. This is not one, though. Absolutely awful. (PICTURES OF MOLDY FRUIT BELOW)

The friend still at the restaurant had to call our other friend and have her send a screen shot of her receipt as proof of payment! Which she did, but shouldn’t have had to!

We made a reservation for a large group. When we got there there wasn’t enough tables set for us. When we asked for another table to be added we were told too bad we would have to stand. Onto ordering drinks it was at least a 40 minute wait for drinks . I ordered food at 5:30 and was met with serious attitude from servers when I asked on the status of my order at 6:30. The order was not complicated or large. 1 pizza….another person in my party was served moldy fruit on her order. Simply put don’t waste your time or money there. Will not be returning

Let It Fly is easily one of the best places around. The layout’s great, the lighting’s perfect, and the whole atmosphere feels welcoming. The staff are friendly, fast, and always smiling. The owner really sets the tone — cool guy who clearly takes pride in what he’s built. Can’t recommend this spot enough.

Let me be clear by sharing a couple details for you. First of all, I went there early on when they were opening and sat outside, where the waitress was nice enough, but of course they didn’t have all their food ready to be served that was on the menu. That’s not an issue. The bill came and it was ridiculously high for food that was mediocre at best. Although the The new location is having more people come to it, a lot of of it is bikers that like to play their music past 11 o’clock at night and rev their engines for hours on end. The business apparently thinks this is OK without telling them they need to stop due to the fact that there are a significant amount of apartments around them. As well as when you try to go enjoy a show at the Astro you are dealing with a bunch of bikers and people that are not necessarily the tamest. Unfortunately, since this location has gone in At the city center in La Vista, it appears as though the neighborhood is gonna be going downhill with the clientele and the inability for management to take action on patrons that are disrespectful of people in the neighborhood either visiting or living. I know the cops have been called multiple times due to noise issues, and I have taken videos of it myself. As far as the restaurant itself, I also wanted to point out that when we had our mediocre lunch, we were charged 20% extra. There were two of us eating. And then they asked for an additional tip on top of that. All I know is, I wish this place wouldn’t have opened their bar here because it’s made an absolute disaster of the area that used to be nice and enjoyable with places like the heights and other businesses.

Its a high end sports bar with a local bar atmosphere. Definitely a sports bar but also so much more. They have high end tasting food choices with very wallet friendly prices. Drinks are poured just right and economical. You might find a dj on a weekend night or an acoustic act playing music for you on a Sunday funday afternoon with mimosa specials. 10/10

Did not expect the delicious food, the amazing service and hospitality, and options for sports being played at every angle in a random stop when they were crazy busy! I will be back on a non-concert night to enjoy again! Can’t go wrong stopping here folks! Somehow charming, engaging, and fulfilling all in one stop!
