After we were seated, our waitress asked for our order. We ordered two appetizers and asked for them to be staggered. Just three minutes later, our waitress returned and said, “It’s been long enough. What do you want to order?” So, after having already put in our appetizer order (which we had not yet received), we were forced to order our entrees.
Minutes passed, and a pepperoni pizza came out; I had ordered a veggie one. We waited longer and finally received the correct pizza, but still no appetizer. A few minutes later, my friend’s entree arrived, also without his appetizer.
On top of everything, the DirecTV stream kept cutting out.
Then, I found a piece of wood in my remade pizza. I guess it’s wood fired. Nice way to find out I guess. Consider sweeping the oven as I’ve never experienced that from numerous experiences at wood fired pizza restaurants. (Photo attached)
My waitress asked if I wanted a water refill, and I said yes, please. The refill arrived 10 minutes later.
When we finished our meals and were ready to pay, the Toast payment terminal wasn’t working. Our server then said, “Oh, I think I forgot you guys ordered two appetizers.” Maybe the employees are just lost.
The 3% credit card surcharge is NOT made apparent.
With a new payment terminal (The one that I’m being charged 3% to use), our waitress was breathing down my neck while I tried to pay for my meal and fill out the survey. Essentially, everything that could have gone poorly, did. Would I recommend this restaurant from our experience here? No.
Want to overpay to see the Super Bowl? Okay. Make a reservation online. But don’t expect much, if any
The wings are amazing, my favorite sauces were the Chipotle & Lemon Pepper.
Everytime we go in it’s always great service, our favorite waiter was Caleb.
He was so attentive and quick!
All around a great great bar/restaurant, highly recommend if you are in the area.
Floor dirty, even tho there was plenty staff standing around. Table sloped downwards at an angle. Appetizers were the smallest I’ve seen. Food was not very good, not warm. Bland. Nothing special about it at all. Didnt get all of our food. Drinks were light on the liquor. Again, didnt get what we ordered.
Bill was waaaay more than it should have been for that kind of service.
Yes, tvs were nice. But thats not why we went. Went for a birthday lunch. No one finished their meal.
We went to downtown Let It Fly before a SuperNova volleyball game. There was an away Creighton game one the TV’s. This is fine. The disappointment was the food and service.
There were 6 of us. Two ordered salads, 3 ordered the special of the day. One ordered a cheeseburger. The cheeseburger was delivered after all other meals were delivered and 5 of us were done eating. The cheeseburger was not cooked the way it was requested. The wrong cheese was put on the burger.
The waiter did apologize. The person that delivered the food was RUDE! Just told our group they were busy. Wow. Poor customer service.
There were out of a drink that was requested and shrimp for a salad.
The drink and food being out is okay with me. That happens.
The service and food delivery was unacceptable.
When looking for some where to eat about before an event at CHI I would not go to Let it Fly. Try DJ’s Dugout or Addy’s.
