Leslie’s is a Chef/family owned restaurant since 1986. We are housed in a beautifully restored 1790 Colonial with a working fireplace and well spaced dining areas. Full bar and Vermont craft beer on draft. Chef has ( 50 years
cooking) prepares food with a European influence at prices that reflect our local Vermont economy. Although it’s a cliche we do prepare ONLY the best quality ingredient for superior results. Leslie makes all our desserts. Families are welcome. At this time we recommend reservations at 802-275-7809 Dress is casual. Great place to stop before traveling to Okemo.. as very busy in Ludlow

Had dinner last night, with friends. We are locals. The restaurant is now owned by Ashley and her husband. Two of us had the onion and mushroom soup as an appetizer, we both agreed it was the best soup we ever had. For dinner, we had the chicken Florentine (sun-dried tomato, spinach) delicious. One of us had the salmon and she commented it was cooked perfectly. Dessert was warm brownie sundae and so good! They have a good wine list and cocktails. We sat viewing the fire and it was so cozy. Ashley, the owner was our server. She was so attentive, made great suggestions and friendly. The 3 of us locals highly recommend!

Excellent service, excellent food. Wonderful atmosphere. Easy reservations. Great place. Food was exquisite. Scallops were cooked perfectly, melt in your mouth. The mushroom onion soup was amazing! The lobster ravioli was cooked perfectly. Decided on extra green beans, which were amazing, instead of the risotto. Highly recommend the green beans. Buttery garlic! The taramisu was the best I’ve had in a decade. Plate sizing was perfect. Oh, the crab cakes were crab! Not just a little and mostly filler, but ALL crab throughout. We will be back.

My husband and I went to Leslie’s for our anniversary dinner . The restaurant is clean , beautifully decorated warm and inviting. Especially on a snowy winters night. We were greeted warmly at the door and had excellent service. The chef and his wife came out to say hello to us .We had the salad for two which was fresh . We loved the candied nuts and chèvre added to it. The warm bread and homemade pesto was delicious! We had to get seconds . My husband ordered a seafood dish with scallops , shrimp and homemade fettuccine. All good.. I had a Tuscan Chicken with spinach , sun dried tomatoes and a cream sauce with penne. Then chicken was tender and flavorful. For dessert we got a wonderful cheesecake with house marinated cherries and a chocolate cake . All homemade and perfectly prepared … raspberry martini (the best!) and a beer to compliment . We loved the atmosphere here and everyone was so kind. Kindness is at the top of the list for us. It always makes such a difference! But the food is up there , too! Make a reservation!!!
We will return 🙂

May 2024: This is a lovely old inn. The service is friendly and the food is very good. We started with the house salad which was terrific, it’s hard to apply a superlative to a salad but in this case it’s justified.
We followed that with the mushroom soup, very good. We then had the duck and the strip steak. The duck is fantastic the steak is good.

May 2023: we enjoyed our dinner at Leslie’s tavern. We started with a salad for two. It was fresh and flavorful. The fresh bread was hot and tasty and had good crust. The mushroom soup with sherry was very good. Duck with blueberry sauce was outstanding. The service was friendly and pleasant. Lesley stopped by every table to greet and meet the guests. The bathrooms are on these second floor and present a challenge.

So accessible of 91, literally right off exit 6. What an overlooked hidden gem. Old, rustic Vermont colonial that is a little restaurant and bar. I can’t express how cozy this place is, friendly staff, and a very hearty food/drink selection. It’s like touring a famous vintage home where the owner cooks for you. Higher end feel with charm. Service was perfection. We will be back.

The most charming and memorable place, filled with the atmosphere of New England! Leslie is very sweet and greets all guests personally. The food is delicious with European touch, and we specially enjoyed the onion/mushroom soup and the duck.
P.S There are 2 sweet cats!

The food was amazing. It didn’t have the biggest menu, but the food was amazing and the atmosphere was so cute.

Atmosphere and service was awful. Other customers were tremendously entitled and awful towards others and staff, not to mention we waited over an hour for food. If you’re rich and love to play who’s got more money and who’s better, this is your place. Horrible place to go as a normal person. As a NH visitor I’d recommend going anywhere else. For what we paid, it was an awful experience.
