Historical and fun. The ambiance is filled with old photos of the owner’s ancestors, which feels nostalgic. The food was extremely delicious- made from scratch! The scones with the honey butter were heavenly. Our waitress was so friendly and told us about the history, which is very interesting! Also, this restaurant has a haunted reputation: they give tours on Saturday nights around 9 pm. You pay about $40, get dinner and a tour of the whole place, including the basements (there are 2). It’s been featured on a few paranormal shows, so if you’re into that, check this place out!

Fun place with lots of history. They say it is haunted but nothing crazy on our visit (to bad). The kids had fun and the food is good. The scones are the real treat here i would go back for scones any day. If you are looking for something a bit different this is a fun place to stop by and grab a bite

There was only one waitress for the whole restaurant and for only being one she did a good job. She was friendly, conversational and one of the better waitresses I’ve had. The scone was amazing, but my family didn’t like the food they got. Definitely not worth the price and I wouldn’t go here again.

My brother and I were on a small road trip from Salt Lake City, stopped in on a Thursday evening. Cute and clean restaurant. Quaint, even. The young waitress was wonderful– kind, attentive, friendly. The scones were HUGE, too large to eat a full one. 🙂

We both ordered chicken friend steaks. The portions were large. Everything tasted okay, but not great. We didn’t get steak knives with the meat, just butter knives, and no salt or pepper. Nothing was _bad_ and we think we’ll give it a second chance if we’re ever in Santaquin again, but I’d give the meals we received that night 3.5 of out 5

This is a quaint little place Santaquin. The environment is fun a d interesting, the service friendly, and the food was fantastic. We started with huge scones that came with meal in lieu of toast! I was just traveling through and stopped because it looked nice. I will be back.

Five minutes off the freeway is another world, even in Utah. Family to the max. The waitress didn’t know what sourdough bread was! They had to make coffee just for me. Basic breakfast. Ample portions. So cute. I left a huge tip.

My second visit the following year was similar, but this time, they did have coffee already brewed. When I declined toast and potatoes from my order, the friendly waitress recalculated the prices from the al a carte menu and charged a lower price. Good show. Another huge tip.

Heard so much about this small local restaurant. We gave it a try. Very disappointed. Decor is very different with old and new family photos on the walls. Scones we’re very large and very dry. Food all around the table was not great. Steak was ordered medium and way over done. Mashed potatoes were watery and tasted very “processed”. Stuffing was dry, almost crumbling under our forks. Roast beef and country fried steak were underseasoned and just not good. Everything was covered in a brown thick flavorless gravy. We ate because we were hungry, not because it was good. If the quality of food coming out of the kitchen was more like good ole country cooking like they advertise I wouldn’t mind paying $14.99 for a plate. We will not be going back.

We went for a late lunch. There was no one there. But there were 3-4 un-bused tables (and they were still un-bused after we left.) That’s just being lazy. The ambiance is nice — a small-town diner feel. The service okay. The food okay. Prices a bit high but acceptable. I hope for these small town diners. But without discipline to service, cleanliness and excellent good, they cannot survive.

My family and I had a great experience! We were craving brunch and just past breakfast time and the cook (the owner) made us breakfast. Scones were amazing. The rest of the food was good but very heavy. I would recommend this place for breakfast, not necessarily for dinner.

The food was great (I got the ham steak dinner… Yum!) Service was a bit slow. The inside looks cool, like you’re in a cabin. The dinners come with plenty of sides, including scones. HUGE scones. Like literally 2 ft. long scones served in a long basket. They were delicious. I’d recommend this place for sure.
