A friend of mine and I went a few days ago. Great spot for the perfect Bahn Mi. I got some sort of spicy chicken one, and my friend got a beef one. Sandwiches were the perfect serving size. No hoisin sauce, which is sad. The music played was techno dance, which is fun, but maybe not in a quiet store? We also asked the staff what they would recommend and they gave us a few options, but told us to check out on the iPads to the side.
Food truly is amazing. Totally worth checking out.

SLC is sleeping on this gem. Stopped by on a Friday night and it was empty.

It’s called Les Banh Mi but both their sandwiches and pho were 10/10.

I got the brisket pho because it was chilly. It had a very rich, deep, flavorful, balanced broth and came with a ton of meat. Just the perfect bowl of hot noodle soup on a cold night.

I also got the steak banh mi very spicy. I would probably order just spicy next time because it definitely packed a punch by the fourth bite. Regardless, though, it was a very stellar banh mi and I’ve had a lot of banh mi’s in California and Vietnam. The steak was tender and flavorful and the juices blended with the mayo creating this very umami sauce that was balanced by the cucumber and pickled veggies. Would love to try their other banh mi’s next time.

Service was quick and friendly as well. Def recommend if you’re downtown.

Ordered the pork vermicelli and it was ALL FAT. You can’t even call that pork belly. The pork Bahn mi wasn’t any better. The not so fresh shrimp spring roll was not pictured because it’s already in the trash. Pho broth was decent. The Diet Dr Pepper and fried spring roll was the only highlight…
Tried calling the place to address the concerns and hung up twice. Highly disappointed.

We got a pork Bahn mi and a veggie dumpling soup. Bahn mi was okay, but the dumplings in the soup were totally obliterated, there were no noodles in the soup, there were massive chunks of raw carrot and broccoli, and it looks like what you find in the drain of a sink after washing dishes.
As a side they offer 12 oz of pho broth for the Bahn mi, but we received a small container with maybe 4 oz of broth.
We also got the Thai tea, which tasted solely of vanilla extract and sugar.
The employee making the food looked like she had the worst day of her life, i can only hope that they treat their employees with respect, but I don’t know how much I believe that.
Also, a lot of the wall hangings have messaging that reads as very misogynistic, one of which reading “women: no shirt, free drinks“.
If you’re looking for classic Vietnamese food, don’t eat here if you can.

Cute little place that’s kind of tucked away in Salt Lake City! Some friends and I went here on a whim after the train broke down at Library Station, so it’s definitely a place that’s located in a really convenient spot.

The atmosphere is very simple, neat, and kinda whimsy. It was a little later at night so the service was a little ornery but overall they were pretty friendly. We had to ask for several things like the hoisin sauce for the phõ, but it was okay.

We ordered the spicy lemongrass chicken banh mí, and some phõ with brisket for a friend who’d never eaten Vietnamese food before. They were both really good, and I will say you should definitely get the banh mí cause it’s literally a banh mí place so of course that’s their specialty. Cool place!

Absolutely worth it! You will likely have to wait, they do take orders through kiosks and get a lot of online orders.

The food is top notch and the pricing compared to the quality is out of this world!

Tiffany is an amazing woman and k fortunate to have been able to have her serve me both times I’ve come so far.

Atmosphere is also amazing, they have unrated music that plays and is up-beat. Great contrast to the religious state.

Great place to take a date after picking up media from the library

I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. We got there late. The attendant who seemed super busy said we could order and eat in. We ordered on the tablet which was convenient. The food arrived quickly. The service was great. The food was super delicious. They went above and beyond to make sure we were good offering a full order of egg rolls when there was a mistake made. The bread with the pho was amazing. They make their own bread!!! I will be back. I recommend.

I really enjoyed the sandwich I got at Les Banh Mi—the flavors were fresh and delicious. It was nice that it came with a drink and chips, which made it feel like a complete meal. That said, I was a little surprised by how small the sandwich was for the price. Still, the taste was great, and I’d probably come back when I’m in the mood for something quick and flavorful.
