The older lady who was bartending today 12/2/25 totally judged us based on how young we look and our IDs. I’m from Oregon, and she gave me a sideways look because of my license, and then questioned my fiancée’s paper ID even though it’s the temporary one that you can scan and the non paper is still in the mail. She wasn’t wanting to order a drink, just to get something to eat. I know there’s no law against using a paper ID — it’s just up to the bar whether they want to accept it. I get that.
They can be easier to fake, but that wasn’t the case here.
Then she goes, “You have to be 21 to be in the bar.”
And I’m thinking, obviously.
At that point I just decided I’m going to start carrying my passport so I never get turned away again, especially when I was as hungry as I was. Back in Oregon I have family who are bar owners. I’ve grown up around bartenders and there are a few red flag if they are good or not, and the first impressions is huge. I should be innocent until proven guilty. And screw you if you think lesser of me because of my youthfulness. I will never come back here and do not recommend this place to anyone thinking about going.

Leroy’s has been around a long time. Some people have told me they think it’s just a biker dive bar but I disagree. It’s a community place that is always very clean and friendly. There is a separate area for family dining and the food is really good. You can play pool and visit with friends without pressure from the staff to keep buying food and drinks. And it’s open during daytime hours. Leroy has done a great job keeping this place safe for the community. Thank you Leroy!

Leroy’s is pretty good, they have a pretty big menu and quick service. They also have a giant bar area that has live music. Their food is good and they have ground beef tacos, some places nearby did not so this was a plus. Food tasted great however I gave it a 4-star because my Wife’s friend found a metal shaving in her food, assuming from a cleaning brush. The server was very nice about this and the kitchen gave us 3 empanadas as a “sorry” gift.
Overall, I’d still recommend this place.

Good food and good prices. Nice drink menu. Great service They are on a septic system and sometimes seem to have some strong odors near bathrooms. Great place to take in live music.

If you’re an African American don’t go. It appears as though they don’t like to serve people that don’t look like them. As a person who has served and bartended all throughout college, I’m baffled by how many times they walk past a $20 will be right in your face while you sit at the bar and not speak or acknowledge you. Not to mention it’s 3 tacos for $5 and there’s a $20 just hanging out on the bar. Save your money. Go somewhere where you are appreciated and served. Also the food lacks flavor like the bartenders lack quality customer service skills.

My mom mentioned this restaurant because she was taking on a date here back in 1997. So I decided to give it a try because they have a special on Wednesdays so I decided to try the flappers and they were heavenly delicious and they were bigger than I expected filled with chicken cheese and the rice was amazing. There was even a guy playing guitar for entertainment and he was absolutely talented and hilarious with his song.
