Love love love these donuts! My family and I tried these at the Portage County Fair and fell in love with these soft pillowy donuts! We’ve had cinnamon sugar, powdered sugar, and blueberry so far all hits. I stopped attending this location and bought 6 dozen because they freeze so well! I tried these for the first time and enjoyed them. I’m not typically a fan of cake donuts, but these are some of the better cake donuts I’ve had. Being the donuts are made fresh several times a day makes a huge difference. Definitely worth a try if you are nearby, but not roadtrip worthy for me. As good as they are, I’ll probably pass next time and head somewhere else for yeast donuts.

I’ve discovered Lerch’s and have basically told everyone I know, about my experience. I’ve never been a cake donut fan but these bad boys are the exception to the rule.
Soft is but one adjective, followed by moist but mostly addictive. I only bought a dozen but my wife and I ate all but four in one sitting while driving to lunch.
The most surprising aspect of these delicious treats; they were phenomenally good the next morning after sitting in the box all night. They tasted just as fresh, with the same moistness and texture as the moment they were handed to me the day prior.
My only regret, buying a single dozen. Now I know why the fella in line before me got three dozen!
