We ended up at this restaurant by chance after arriving in Dohatsuten for lunch—our original choice had just closed right before we got there due to their unusual hours. We ordered what the waitress recommended since I didn’t want fried rice, just plain rice. Everything turned out to be very delicious! The salmon was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was flavorful—not spicy, just the right amount of sweetness. The nudges was rich and satisfying, with a large prawn and a generous piece of calamari. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Highly recommend. Atmosphere fabulous.

The stone pot rice tastes pretty good. Chicken wings are great. But the chicken pho is very disappointing. The dark meat is dry and chewy, the broth probably has a lot of MSG.

Summary: Tasty Vietnamese restaurant in mid town area. Same plaza as Pizza. Lots of indoor seating.
Price is about $17-18 for noodle. The lemongrass noodle (Bun bo hue) is tasty. Portion is smaller than authentic mom/pop place. Overall a solid place and we will come back.

There I was, hungover and sick looking for something to cure me from a night of drinking. So, my partner and I made our way over to Lequy in Mountain View. We ordered the pho dac biet and the wagyu pho. I thought the pho was solid and definitely hit the spot, but wasn’t anything extraordinary either. I think the presentation of the wagyu pho was really neat with the hot bowl of soup and meat on the side. But at the end of the day, it was just a bowl of pho with brisket. I think the pricing is fine, and is very on par with other Vietnamese restaurants in the bay area.

Really good food. The portion is decent. The pho is tasty with a decent amount of protein. I didn’t get thirsty afterwards (maybe the soup doesn’t have MSG?). Their Pad Thai is surprisingly good for a Vietnamese restaurant.

I have come here many times and I believe it is a great restaurant. The bahn mi sandwiches have very balanced and complex flavors working with the amazing textures to create a harmony of flavors in your mouth. The pho is all very comforting, I recommend ordering any pho with the fresh flat noodles as they are many times better than the original. I wouldn’t recommend the Wagyu pho, as it turns rather oily from the Wagyu fat. Great restaurant. Definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in the area.

This seems to be a newly opened Vietnamese pho restaurant, and it left a great first impression. We ordered their specialty—Wagyu Pho, something you rarely find elsewhere.
The pho was served in a hot clay bowl, which kept the broth warm throughout the meal. The wagyu beef and noodles were served separately, allowing you to cook the beef to your desired doneness as you eat. The beef was incredibly tender and flavorful, while the broth was light and clean, not greasy at all, and easy to enjoy.
I also tried the vermicelli noodle salad, which was excellent. The grilled meat was juicy and well-seasoned, not overly salty, and sliced to the perfect thickness. The shrimp was fresh, and everything came together for a refreshing and satisfying dish.
The fried spring rolls were standard—similar to what you’d find at most other Vietnamese spots.
The interior decor was modern and pleasant, making for a comfortable dining experience. Overall, I think this might become my new go-to pho spot, especially for that delicious Wagyu Pho that’s absolutely worth coming back for.

We were at this place yesterday. The only guests were us and one other couple, which was very strange considering the large dining area and the fact that it was February 14th. The restaurant was almost empty.
We liked the food, it was tasty. However, when it came time to pay, a woman of Asian appearance asked us, “Did you leave a tip?” I replied, “What do you mean? Why are you asking me this?” She asked again. I said no, that I decide myself whether to leave a tip or not, and that no one can force me to do so — it is my personal choice. She responded by saying that we are supposed to leave tips and continued speaking in that manner.
This behavior really upset me. I was shocked that a staff member would tell me what to do with my money. It felt extremely disrespectful. Perhaps this attitude is the reason why there were so few guests, even on a holiday.
The food is acceptable, but the staff’s attitude toward guests is terrible. We will definitely not be returning due to the lack of respect from the personnel.
I believe the owners of the establishment need to conduct ethics training courses with their staff.
