I don’t like leaving bad reviews like this because the folks who work there were nice and the atmosphere seems fine but this pizza is the worst pizza we’ve ever had. The cheese is not good on the pizza and the dough is raw underneath because there is so much of it. It was also so greasy it’s hard to stomach. If you like a bunch of processed cheese and lots of grease then you’ll enjoy this place. If you like more traditional pizzas, I would not recommend it.

I flew in to KC for 1 day and my 2nd stop was to pick up a pie (or 2) from Leo’s. First time back since ’94, and it was EXACTLY as I remembered! Something about that cheese…. the BEST! Not the cheapest pizza around ($54 & change for 2 pies) but I brought most of them back to Florida (Tupperware in my luggage) & it fed my 2 children & I for a couple days.

When you walk in the door, you immediately feel like you’re walking back in time. There is so much old world charm whether it’s hanging on the wall or hanging from the ceiling. It is a small quaint and nostalgic pizzeria from 1974.
You also notice the St. Louis memorabilia tied to Budweiser hanging on the wall.
They have a great selection of sandwiches, salads and pizza… Thin crust only, your basic cracker crust. With that thin of crust, any amount of weight on the pizza becomes dominant. The cheese is provale.. which is a mixture of provolone, Swiss and cheddar.
It does seem to take 40 to 45 minutes to turn out a pie. Don’t go here if you’re in a rush. You can order a head because I noticed a lot of to go orders.
Order at the counter and they bring the pizza to your table, one refill for your fountain drinks.
I would say it’s similar to imo’s but still a little different.

Feels like the only spot I order from any more. Well-done bake make’s these pizzas one of my favorite in KC. Most people comment about the cheese – the crust is even better.

Leo’s was a really good find! Despite being a small space, it felt incredibly cozy and welcoming from the moment we stepped inside. The customer service was excellent – everyone was so attentive and friendly. We especially appreciated that they had high chairs available for our baby, which made our meal much easier. We ordered the deluxe pizza, and while the toppings were delicious and the pizza overall was good, it was a little on the greasy side.

We ordered two 2-topping pizzas on Mothers Day evening, and they were ready for pickup when promised. The total was ~$53. They were busy and the wait was 75 minutes and they were out of salads. Took the pizza home to a family of 4 with little experience with St. Louis style pizza.
We liked the pizza and put a good dent in it. 3 out of 4 said we would eat the pizza occasionally, and the 4th really enjoyed it. My son and I thought we would like less provel cheese, and we would have liked it better.
We liked the crust and the topping amounts, we just prefer traditional style pizza more.

Absolutely the BEST pizza in KC! Thin crackery crust high quality chesse sauce and pepperoni. We drive 40 minutes to pick up this delicious pizza.

Determined to try a different pizza place and found Leo’s on google search. Ordered large Delux pizza recommended at the restaurant. Main difference is that they use few different types of cheese as topping instead of the conventional mozarrela that gives the richer & creamier taste. The pizza has thin crust which I truly like but there wasn’t much flavor considering so many other toppings on it( like the sausage and pepperoni). One thing I didn’t quite like was the pizza was way too greasy for me.

One word to sum it all up AMAZING!
I found them on Google after a conversation with my son were I remembered that Leos was in Blue Springs 30 years ago.
After finding out that they have always been around, just up north, I felt kinda bummed out, because had I known that they were at another location I would have been a long time customer over the last 30 years!
The food brought back many good memories, the staff were friendly and amazing! Truly down to earth folks.
I live about an hour south of their location, but it is sooooooo worth the drive
A true Gem, and in now knowing that they are there I will happily return.
Thank you to the great staff at Leos, for a wonderful meal and evening.

Actually, I went down there due to high rating in Google Maps. They said it is the best pizza place in KC. It is a cozy place which I liked it. I couldn’t say it is wonderful. I think it is a normal pizza with a little pricey.
