Our waiter was very attentive. The food was good. The drinks were good. We went with 2 young kids and they were very patient with us.

Went this past Friday as an impromptu decision for dinner. Christal, our server, was very engaging and my son adored her. The Bolognese was good, the bread was fresh, the salad was crisp. Definitely will be returning in the near future.

My waiter Solé was wonderful! He provided great suggestions and make lovely drinks. Our food was great except for the tiny sample size amount of gelato that was on the butter cake. Solé complained and was met with microsgression. Typical. We as black people should be able to voice when something is wrong or unacceptable without being labeled as loud, especially when we are not being loud.

Leo’s opened in Park West Village about a month ago and I’m excited that we have a decent Italian restaurant in the neighborhood again. We started with the Arancini which was delish. The lasagna was good but Mulino still holds the title for best. The Ravioli was very savory and a touch too salty, great flavor though. I was really surprised to see a doodle dish and it was very good. The rigatoni was excellent and the sauce had the perfect consistency. Now let’s talk dessert. The Tiramisu was different but still good. I think I’m used to it being soaked in chocolate and rum and it wasn’t. This was a good thing though. Chocolate cake for the win though. It’s a must. Service was great and they also have a decent wine list. Ambiance is modern but didn’t scream Italian restaurant. Will be back to try some of their other dishes for sure.

We tried out the restaurant after seeing the nice scenery outside with the fire pit as we were leaving Trader Joe’s. My partner and I are so glad that we chose this spot for dinner, Alyssa was our waitress and she made sure that we were taken care of, our food and drinks came out quickly. The two managers spoke to us and were also very friendly ! The food was amazing & SO flavorful. I loved that the atmosphere was nice & laid back, simple but yet elegant. The prices were reasonable as well ! We will definitely be back !!

So happy one of our favorite restaurants from Ohio is now also in NC! We visited on a Sunday evening and the place was filled. Love the aesthetics of the renovated restaurant – lots of cozy booths and banquettes. Nice lighting and ambiance throughout (and great acoustics – you can easily hear your dining companions!).

Our waitress was as sweet as could be but place is loud! The Shrimp Fra Diavolo had no heat at all. Only about 8 medium shrimp which were small and seemed like they were once frozen. Was not worth $23. Don’t do my mistake and get dish over zucchini noodles as the sauce was too liquid and thin as they didn’t drain noodles well. My husband’s bolognese dish was OK. We realized no one came over with Parmigiano cheese for the top nor had it on the table. What kind of italian restaurant doesn’t do that ?! Lol. A lot of money for nothing & We are not coming back.

My husband and I had an excellent dinner here with excellent service (Nia was the server). The restaurant has been changed quite dramatically inside… I love the chandeliers on the far side. Thankfully, the bar is the same but without the wall of dust-catching wine bottles. On warm days, you can still sit outside at the bar windows with a view into the restaurant. Two televisions are in the bar area. Some people were around the fire-pits outside on the patio. I’m glad they still have that awesome patio! We sat at a small table near the windows, which had a white paper-covered white tablecloth, but I only noticed the white paper after I spilled a drop of sauce. Complimentary bread, with a plate of olive oil and balsamic dipping. We had calamari as an appetizer… It was thicker than we are used to, but the flavor was marvelous, even though at first I tried— by accident—a fried jalapeño slice on the plate, and it was a tad too spicy for me. Be careful because they look similar. My husband enjoyed the fried jalapeño though. For our entrées, I had eggplant Parmesan, and he had lasagna. The server brought Parmesan to grate on top. My husband has tried lasagna at various local restaurants, and they are not always up to par. He raved about Leo’s’. We asked for extra sauce on the side, however, because some restaurants serve their Italian dishes with not enough sauce for our liking. I think it was a good request even though there was probably adequate sauce. By the way, their sauce is delicious. My eggplant Parmesan had about four layers of slightly crispy-crusted, baked eggplant. I loved the crispy parts because it indicated that the dish was fresh. The manager stopped by and we praised the food and service. Outstanding meal overall that, of course, we enjoyed with a couple glasses of wine.

I’ve visited Leo’s Italian Social several times in the past few months and have consistently had an amazing experience. The staff is beyond friendly, the atmosphere is impeccable, and the food/drinks are delicious. On one occasion, they even gave our table a meal on the house! Highly, highly recommend checking this restaurant out. You won’t regret it!

A few of my girlfriends, and I came out tonight for their grand opening to support one of our friends, who got hired there. The food was impeccable, the management made sure to make their rounds, and in sure that everything was top notch. We all loved our meals. I wish I would have snagged a picture of our appetizer but forgot. I had the chicken Parmesan, while my friends had a fillet and the chicken carbonara. Everything was delicious.
