Dined at Leo’s tonight with a small group. The waitress was working alone and got a little stressed. However, she was very nice and did a great job. The food was hot and tasty. We were the last ones there but the staff was pretty patient with us and was allowed to stay awhile after closing. Nice staff, nice food and great experience.

Sketchy. Food was good, service was great but atmosphere was sketchy. Dude hanging out up front panhandling for money and other sketchy people in the parking lot at 8am. Also the AC was way too cold. Order the breakfast as it is the most consistent and economic choice on the menu in my opinion. I think my favorite thing was the waiter, he made the meal better.

We were visiting Detroit and a friend who grew up in Detroit said this was the most “local” joint you could eat at and not to miss it. This is a 24 hour diner style place – not fast food, not fine dining… Huge menu, great Coney Island chili dogs (I added cheese, always makes it that much better!!) we got the curly fries – really good – and jalapeño poppers – skip those, they weren’t my favorite and didn’t taste fresh.
Lots of seating, all pretty much booth style. Our server Devin was fantastic and fast! He was really attentive and really went above & beyond.
As long as you expect that this really is diner food, you won’t be disappointed. There’s a lot to choose from, kids menu, breakfast menu, salad options… and all the typical burgers, dogs, soups – it really was a huge menu.

My only complaint is that whatever they use to clean the floors leaves a slippery/greasy residue, and whatever they use to clean the tables has a very strong smell. If I could suggest anything it would be to use something else bc the Lysol smell ruins the eating experience. I love this place. It’s a good coney, so if you are expecting something other than a coney check your expectations. Something has changed about it, and for the better. Food quality actually has gotten better. Staff is sweet and friendly and on the ball.
