I love Leo’s so I come here pretty often, at least once or twice a week, since I work downtown. Overall most of the staff is super kind! Although almost every time I get my takeout order something is off. Either I’m missing the dressing for my salad, I’m missing toppings on my salad, or I’m missing sauce I bought for extra on the side for an appetizer. I get mistakes happen and I totally understand since I also work carryout at a restaurant on the weekends, but it happens pretty frequently. I’d like to keep coming here, but kind of disappointing every time I get my order I’m expecting something to be wrong, especially since I tip every time.

This place used to be very good service about a year or two ago. I’m a night owl and tend to get late carry out. The service has taken a big nose dive over the past year. I asked for something simple for my salad to be tossed, the waiter noticed it wasn’t tosses and the cook looked at my salad and closed it and gave it back to the waiter. Didn’t even toss it. The past three time i’ve gone they’ve either had no large cups, or no untilis. It’s always something. I’m pretty easy going guy, but I don’t understand how they are always lacking something. Then today was my final straw. I get my food and there is a salad with nothing it. It’s just a plain empty box… How can this even happen?

The servers are usually great. But they have this guy who works there. He didn’t greet me. He practically grunted. He didn’t bring my sauce. I asked multiple times for hot sauce and he forgot while he had nothing to do. And then said they didn’t have it….they did. And then he got it

Clean coney spot. Jodi is always so nice and accommodating in person and over the phone. The food be hot and tasty. I come here almost every morning for breakfast. Their lemon soup is amazing too.

For being a basic Coney Island Diner I gotta say overall it was a really good experience. Compared to the other breakfast establishments in the area and price point you can’t go wrong. Prices are reasonable for a basic breakfast. The eggs were cooked to order, food came out hot with generous proportions. Best of all there was absolutely no wait to be seated on a late Saturday morning! Our waitress was spot on and accommodating. When in the area again I wouldn’t hesitate to revisit.

Ordered soup and chilli. Both were wrapped in tinfoil and put into the bag sideways so by the time it got to me half the soup was in the bottom of the bag. No spoon, crackers, napkins. Nothing but crappy service from a Birmingham/Bloomfield location. Simple things but are very important.

This is by far the best Leo’s in Michigan all because of a wonderful Woman named Tina. Her hospitality shines above everyone in Birmingham. She treats each quest as an equal. Thank you Tina for being you. My coworkers and I see you and appreciate you.

I actually just ordered food from Door Dash, probably my 3rd or 4th time. The food is decent, usually luke warm but that’s not a problem. I can always heat it up if needed. But I got a hot dog and this thing was more dried out than one of Imhotep’s victims from 1999’s The Mummy. Could only take a couple bites before tossing it. Never happened before but I will probably not order from them again.

I was told to experience the Coney Island by a coworker and it was a bit overhyped in taste. If you are looking for some cheap and plentiful food then definitely I would go back. I had the French toast and it was great
