Every visit is pleasant. Both calling in our takeout orders and eating in. The food is amazing and fresh and our favorite is the chicken lemon soup. My family and I have had the same waitress a few times in the past few months and she has been awesome. Prompt and great personality. when I’m just eating alone or with my kids and grandkid she brings crayons and coloring books and she seems to always be on the go working. Forgive me if I’m wrong on the name Amanda or maybe Amber. tall brunette with very long dark hair Great job Leo’s. We appreciate your service.

Everything you could ever want right here at Leo’s. Conveniently located right off M5 and 14 Mile next to a gas station and mini Mart.
This Leo’s has a similar menu to other Leo’s but, the big difference is the food comes out much faster and it’s cooked perfectly every time. The grilled chicken salad is huge and comes with big chunks of delicious chicken. When you order fries they’re on a platter twice the size of other Leo’s.
If you’re really lucky you will have MacKenzie as your server. Pleasant, polite and a friendly smile. Her order accuracy and attention to detail is spot on. Stop by if you’re in the area and see why this Leo’s is better than the rest:)

Le see this Leo’s Coney Island for a few reasons. It’s usually a breakfast I need for being in the area. We’ve never been disappointed with our hard working waitress Tiffany. All coneys are not the same. This one uses a special bread for it’s signature cinnamon french toast. That combined with the cranberry – orange juice made upon request, it all works for me. During theater season I coordinate group breakfasts and have tables set up prior to our arrival. They all were supportive in getting us served and our on our schedule. For some a place like this is easy to put down because they think their $7.89 is supposed to get them more than pancakes, egg, and meat. But I say let them try that somewhere else

We were nearby for an event and stopped in for a meal while it was going on. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start. It was about 20 minutes before anyone took our drink order, and the food took a long time to arrive (the server mentioned they only had one cook that day).
Several dishes were incorrect or poorly prepared: a chicken gyro was served dry with no tzatziki, the stir-fry had no flavor, a salad seemed barely cut, and the “chicken pitas” were wrapped in tortillas. No knives were provided for meals that clearly needed them, and one dessert we ordered was never brought.
My breakfast was the most concerning. I took a bite of my toast and it tasted and smelled strongly like fish, which made me feel sick afterward. Since then, even thinking about that bite brings back that same unpleasant, lingering taste. The hashbrowns were also undercooked. When we told the server, she said a manager would come speak with us, but no one ever did. We left the food uneaten and still paid the full bill plus tip.
We’ve had better experiences at other locations, but this visit was very disappointing in terms of food quality and management follow-through.

6 of us went for breakfast/lunch. The only person who didn’t get cooked food got a Greek salad. That would have been fine except that the veggies were in big chunks and they don’t offer knives. The chicken gyro had white chicken with no seasoning or any tzatziki sauce. That person never received their rice pudding that was ordered. The next person ordered a simple breakfast of over medium eggs hash browns white toast and a side of sausage gravy. The hash browns were undercooked and weirdly enough, the toast smelled and tasted of fish. That person was grossed out at that point. 2 other people ordered chicken finger pitas. They received wraps made from tortillas. They were told that they ordered wraps when they specified chicken fingers and pitas. The final person ordered a chicken stir fry. It was dry and had no flavor. When the person asked for some sauce they were told it was plain soy sauce and that’s what they were given. When that person asked for butter for their pita, they were not given a knife. There were no knives given even to jelly the toast even though there was jelly on the table
I have never been to a meal where all 6 people eating were totally dissatisfied. We all left the food sitting.
The waitress did say that the manager would come take money off of our bill specifically for the fishy toast. We sat snd waited and he never showed. Prior to any of this we waited 20 minutes before anyone even took our drink order. The place was not crowded. I ended up just paying the $90 plus tip and leaving. I was over it and needed to get out of there .
My sister is disgusted that she ate one bite of that fishy toast and wonders why it was like that. She can still taste it and it grossed out . Was it raw fish? Cooked fish? Or what? I smelled it too .
I’ve never in my life written a review like this . I’ve never been so upset about what a huge waste of money and food We didn’t eat anything. We are average good people . Not complainers. I would advice avoiding that place

Food was below average. I had scrambled eggs with hashbrowns and rye toast. Hashbrowns are not cooked completely eggs weren’t runny but just on the edge even a toast wasn’t completely toasted.
Service was outstanding fast and friendly. However, I was the only one there at 8:10am
This place is dated. I mean it is beat up pretty good. They haven’t replaced anything but the napkins in here in years and it is a very dingy dirty feel to it, whether it is or not. I don’t know, but it definitely needs some upgrades. Considering all the choices in this immediate area, I would think they would put a little bit of capital into this establishment and bring it to higher standard standards.

I have been to many Leo’s Coney Island in my life. Varying quality, atmosphere, etc. but without a doubt, I can tell you this was the best Leo’s coney experience of my life. The decor was fantastic, it was classic and clean. Our waitress, Alyssa, was also a delight. The food was crispy, reasonably priced, and quick. Every other Leo’s Coney Island should have to come tour this one to see how it’s done.

I ordered the 3 meat skillet, with over easy eggs. I needed the eggs to make it moist. Was still dry,and a lill over cooked. Other dishes could be different. Won’t go back there.

The service was good. Prompt, accommodating, and friendly. The food was not good. I went for the “Detroit spread” Coney Island hot dog with fries, a small Greek salad, and a Boston Cooler.
The chili was bland and the hot dog was cold.
The fries were soggy.
The Greek salad had a good dressing but exactly one olive. Also the slice of beet in the salad was mushy.
The Boston cooler somehow had too much ice-cream. The soda was poured over the ice cream creating too much foam. There was maybe a 1/4 cup of soda in the whole thing.
However they did go out to get the ginger ale to make it in the first place. Like I said, good service.
The booths could also use some reupholstering.

friends (3 of us total) & i went for bfast. i got their 1st & got a booth… place was pretty much empty with wait staff all congregating at the front register. i was immediately approached & asked if i would like drinks- i ordered waters all around and a coffee for myself. once my friends arrived, the waitress was very dismissive toward our table & would disappear in the kitchen a lot. The hash browns were burnt & dry & my omelette was missing cheese :/ When we were ready to go, the waitress dropped off the check on our table & darted away, not giving us to ask for boxes for our plates full of food… so we called to her & she brought us two boxes that were clearly too small for all the leftovers.
i’ve been to a ton of better leo’s in MI
