Don’t get the chicken finger peta unless you want disgusting brown lettuce. Ordered online, went to take my first bite and was greeted with brown slimy lettuce. Unacceptable. Trash restaurant. Worst Leo’s I’ve ever experienced and that’s saying a lot.

We arrived around 3pm today (two adults and one child) and when we walked in the floors were trashed with napkins, food and wrappers strewn about. We grabbed a table close to the register and sat, and sat and sat. For more than 5-10 minutes we sat there without even being greeted much less looked at. After waiting that long we almost walked out but we were hungry so I walked to the register to let them know we had been waiting a while and I got a “I’m sorry we were really busy and we didn’t realize.” Mind you they were not that busy, I’ve seen it way more packed before and it’s still not excuse to not even acknowledge a customer. I was watching the 4 servers and they would just stand at the window waiting for food to come out instead of helping us or stand in the back area chatting/eating. After I complained someone came over after another few minutes which was irritating once again. We ordered and got our food, the server was pleasant enough and the food was OK, but once we got our food our server never came back to the table to check on us, not once. When I we walked up to the counter to pay another server was helping someone in front of us cash out and then when it was our turn to pay she walked away! Didn’t say a word, no eye contact, just walked away. I almost lost it then. Shortly after that our server came to the register and cashed us out (good thing too because she never even gave us our bill since she never checked on us). I’ve been here plenty of times before and never had an issue, I would have asked for a manager but no one even remotely looked like management there. Do better guys, because I’m not sure I’ll be coming back after that catastrophe.

I’ve ordered from Leo’s Coney Island multiple times, and this was the final straw. Every time I order a chicken finger pita, if it comes with lettuce, the lettuce is brown, soggy, and completely wilted, like it’s been sitting far past its usable life. This isn’t a one-off — this is the second time.

Because of this issue, I specifically requested NO lettuce and ADD cheese on my most recent order. What did I get?
• Lettuce anyway — still brown and wilted
• No cheese at all, despite requesting it

That’s unacceptable. Ignoring clear order instructions and serving visibly old produce is disgusting. I’m extremely disappointed and honestly grossed out. I will never order from this location again. Do better.

1/11/2026 was my first time in this location. I must say it was great. Service was spectacular, food was the best ever, and they were quick. Waitress could have been more happy. I give my experience a 9/10

The experience at this Leo’s is so inconsistent but has never been great. Final straw for me and what compelled me to leave a review was last night we ordered carry out chicken finger pitas and chicken strips. The chicken was so dry and chewy, and the breading was bland and falling right off the meat. My kid said it tasted bad and refused to eat it! $40 down the drain and to boot, my husband ended up with an immediate upset stomach the rest of the night. This is the closest Leo’s to my house, I wish it was better. After last night I won’t be going back.

Emily I was amazing, she brought us our drinks super fast. The store was all decked out for Christmas and we enjoyed the feel and look. Also her hair was so cool, kudos to your hair skills! Thank you for serving us 🙂

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all good options here. My personal favorite is the chili cheese fries and a original chicken finger pita with a side of Ranch. The salads and breakfast are a few of my other favorites. The parking lot is huge in the same shopping complex as a planet fitness and aldis just to name a few. They take cash and card. Staff was super friendly and the food came out fast and fresh.

This is the absolute worst coney I have ever gotten food from. NEVER again will I order from this filthy restaurant. They give you food that is totally burnt and I also ordered two coneys with chili, mustard,0nion and cheese and they send me two plain hot dogs that taste like rubber!! The buns were stale and hard and the potato skins were burnt to a crisp!!! Called to complain and the manager would not come to the phone. Please do NOT waste your money on this nasty place.

They are so sweet here! I’m becoming a regular and the red haired girl up front with the tattoos is very kind. Give her a promotion or something nice for her efforts .

We came in today to meet an old friend for lunch. We have been to the Leo’s in Clarkston and have always been met with friendly faces and good food..
Here at the Waterford location we encountered a doom & gloom atmosphere. If someone died, honestly please close the restaurant doors for a day and let the staff grieve… If that’s not the case, oh myyyy, and You have bigger issues on your hands..
No one smiled, not once! The wait staff acted like parasites were controlling them, robotic, meek, lacked emotion. There Was No Joy and there Was No Love in neither the service nor the food, just miserably long faces. It was bland, all of it, everything that was brought to our table was prepared with No seasoning, No flavor, NO Love…
Despite our unhappiness we still did tip well, just in case there was a sad event that had occurred AND was the reason for the depressing, miserable mood because someone’s livelihood shouldn’t be on the line because the owner didn’t want to take care of his/her employees. Either way the owners need to Do Better! Be more present and know what’s happening out on the floor and with your workers. Support your employees because they are the backbone of your restaurant…
For us, We will NOT Ever be returning to this particular location..

*Update: The owner replied in a cheeky manner, stating our server has a medical condition that causes her the inability to smile. We whole heartedly, certainly do wish her the best with that. But it is still no excuse for the rest of it.
It Absolutely costs nothing to be cordial. Food is your business and should be made & served with some level of hospitality.
