Well, I’ve been into about every ice cream shop in America. That my fiancé drags me into, and she said, this one was the best so far, I had a pistachio Waffle cone 2 scoops. It was delicious and she had one scoop in a cup. Peanut butter chocolate and she says it was phenomenal better than saxophone’s

We visited Leopold’s on Black Friday around 7 pm, right in front of the SCAD Library and next to the classic movie theater. I love the streets of downtown Savannah. Walking there feels like stepping back into the America of the 1950s or 1960s. The mix of historic charm, artsy corners, and modern life all woven together makes Savannah one of the prettiest and most unique downtowns I have ever experienced.

Leopold’s fits right into that atmosphere. The moment you walk up, the neon lights and vintage storefront give you the feeling of what an ice cream parlor should look like. Inside, the walls are filled with old movie posters and framed celebrity signatures, giving it the feeling of a Hollywood time capsule.

Even though the line was long and stretched outside, we only waited about 30 minutes. The line moves faster than it looks. The staff were incredibly kind, cheerful, and welcoming. There is also a lounge area that adds to the nostalgic, old-school vibe. It honestly feels like stepping into a little piece of history.

The ice cream itself is fantastic. They have so many flavors and everything tasted rich and full of character. It is the perfect spot to slow down, enjoy Savannah’s charm, and feel like you’re experiencing a piece of Americana.

Highly recommended for anyone visiting downtown Savannah. A must-stop.

Finished a long walking afternoon with a stop in Leopold’s with the pups (outdoor seating). Understood there would be a line so not an issue for us and it moved pretty quickly. We had a small cup of chocolate chip and another of banana. The dogs had a pup cup of whipped cream though the offer a non-dairy dog dessert. Some of the best ice cream we have had (and we have had a lot). Serving size was generous, super creamy and a had good/genuine taste.

We absolutely love this place! From the 1920’s atmosphere, to the movies and stars who signed pictures, to the ice cream. Everything about this place is nostalgic. Even the Ice cream. I got a mint chocolate chip on a cone and it was delicious! Somewhat pricey but really not too bad. I would definitely recommend coming here for ice cream.

I will be the first to acknowledge that I am fluent in hyperbole, but Leopold’s is legitimately the best ice cream I’ve had in my 29 years and 223 days on planet Earth.

We were finishing off a couple martinis and quickly google searched “ice cream near me,” and I nearly choked on an oyster when Leopold’s popped up with 4.7 stars on 13,505 google reviews. Those numbers are UNPRECEDENTED… 2006 Kobe Bryant numbers. 2012 Calvin Johnson numbers.

We made the short walk over on a blessed Sunday afternoon and were met with no line. I taste tested 4 different flavors, and the staff was so helpful in recommending, and more importantly, not recommending things based on my pallet.

I can’t remember the exact flavors I got, and for that I am sorry my dear reader. I have failed you. 1 scoop was their variation of cookies and cream, and the other was some peanut butter cookie kind of flavor that was blessed by the hand of Zeus himself. This was the perfect ice cream.

It was so good that my girlfriend and I were on facetime the other night trying to see if they ship nationally, which they do but you need to buy 5 pints. Worth it tbh.

There is super long line for this Ice cream place, and the wait is totally worth it! The signature favors are so good, especially the original ones from 1919! The portion is big and price is reasonable. A must visit when you come to Savanna, GA!

A savanna classic so I had to go. The ice cream was wonderful. I had cinnamon, lemon and coconut. It was definitely worth going.

We beat the line by two minutes after we showed up the line doubled. The staff was well prepared, and people were served quickly. I’m looking forward to trying the two homemade cookies but the ice cream was enough.

I did see that they were serving pup cups as the person sitting next to us had one for his puppy.

Had a road trip from NC to FL for away hockey games, and Leopold’s was one of the highest reviewed places I could find for my rest stop of Savannah GA. I am so glad I decided to stop by! I decided to treat myself to two scoops, and went with two flavors exclusive to Leopold’s, the Savannah Socialite & the Rum Bisque. Both were exquisite, and were generously stuffed into a waffle cone. I see Leopold’s has over a century of history under it’s belt, and based off of my experience with the genuine friendly staff and the stunning flavors, here’s to another 100 years!

Delicious. We had the two scoop brownie sundae and single scoop with toppings. It was great. We paid $16. When we go to an ice cream shop down by our home in South Florida the prices would’ve been double. Free water. Bathrooms were clean. Great atmosphere and everyone is so friendly.

The best ice cream EVER. As someone who is not a fan of sweets this ice cream was such a treat. It was soft and creamy. I had it as an ice cream sandwich and the cookies were amazing and stayed soft the entire time on my ice cream sandwich.
