As they say, better late than never. Our order may have been one hour and 50 minutes late, but it was New Year’s Eve, so totally understandable. And the quality of the food sure made up for that. We ordered chilli chicken, crispy ginger beef, black pepper spicy beef fried noodles, chicken lo mein, Kung Pao beef and fried rice. Each dish was full of flavour, however we didn’t find the spicy dishes very spicy at all; we’ll probably ask for more spice next time. Definitely our new go-to place for Chinese and Thai food in Oshawa. The delivery driver was very friendly and apologetic, but we expected a delay that evening.

After trying Leon’s Garden I will leave you with this. I ordered two combination dinners and a Cantonese chow mein. Both dinners were delicious, flavourful, and well portioned. You definitely got more than you could finish in one sitting. The Cantonese Chow Mein was also spot on and amount shrimp, chicken, beef, and pork they added were double then most restaurants I have been to. The owners are very polite, friendly, and efficient having my order ready in under 15 minutes. The total was $38 and we had leftovers for the next day. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I will be back! Thanks Leon’s!

Wow!!!! Thank you, Leons!! Oshawa really needs you. We tried Leon’s for the first time tonight and it did not disappoint and I consider myself to be on the pickier side. We ordered the chicken balls, pork fried rice, basil chicken, Kung Pao chicken, honey garlic ribs, wonton soup and chicken wings. I personally only ate the chicken ball’s, fried rice and honey garlic ribs are they were all 10/10. Amazing! We will definitely be back!

We treated ourselves a second time to dinner at Leon’s Garden. We ordered the Thai basil chicken, red curry chicken and Thai fried rice. Once again absolutely delicious! The generous portions allowed for a second meal the following day.
As we finished our meal just before closing and were the only patrons left we had added pleasure of chatting with Joanne and Leon for a bit. They are simply charming and take much pride in their outstanding business.
The restaurant is also well kept and spotlessly clean. We’ll be back for sure.

Hidden treasure for Chinese food in Oshawa. Extremely friendly staff and generous portions. Very clean restaurant and looking forward to being a regular customer.
Update. Now that I am a regular customer I am amazed how really good this restaurant has become since my last review. Super nice family run restaurant with large servings of Chinese and Thai dishes. Last night’s dinner was a dinner for three with a general Tao chicken dish and hot and sour soup. It easily served four with leftovers for another dinner tonight. Without a doubt my favorite restaurant for Asian cuisine. Still highly recommended. Pay with cash over $40 and they even throw in a ten percent discount. I love Leon’s Chinese restaurant.

This is the best authentic chinese and Thai food in Durham. We ordered pad Thai and Cantonese chow mein and they are delicious! I can taste the freshness of the ingredient and the seasoning is just like home taste. The price is unbeatable. They do cash discount as well. Their lunch special combo is unreal and I would definitely try them next time. This place is cozy, clean and comfortable. The service is homie and professional. The owner and his wife are lovely people and they are very passionate about their food. I am so happy they find Oshawa to start their business. We need more good Asian food in the area.

We ordered over 150.00 worth of food.for family get together . It was good but very veggie forward. Little amount of meat in the beef and chicken dishes and the low meins.
The chicken soo guy and chicken balls are good. The pork slices were a bit dry. I would order again for sure just not as much of the same.
