Ordered from the vegan menu twice and both times were amazing food, we had the vegan kebabs and the vegan vish and a burger and all orders were amazing. The salmon replacement was so tasty and creative and the staff are all lovely too and very knowledgeable about vegan food. It’s great to have vegan options locally especially in an area that’s lacking vegan food. Would definitely order from here again

Oh my goodness, where do I even start? I have lived locally all of my life and I never knew Leon’s Fish Bar did so many amazing vegan and vegetarian options. We have been ordering vegetarian pizza on our cheeky takeaway nights for years, thinking it was our only option locally. We only discovered this because I fancied chips and curry sauce so went on the website to see if I could find out if the chips were cooked in the same oil as the fish. Well, when I opened the menu I was amazed. We had the vegan fish, vegan battered sausages and the vegan chips. Portion sizes were really good and the food was genuinely beautiful. Sometimes vegan food can have a stale musty taste but both the fish and sausages were beautiful. The pricing is really good too, we didn’t feel at all like we were paying the “vegan tax” on anything. 100% will order again and so excited to try the kebabs next time!

Not been to Leon’s for a few years and remember it being really good. Went tonight and the food is disgusting. The Kababs like rubber and the chips aren’t that great either. Wouldn’t come here again. Staff are lovely no complaints with them

We bought dinner here after seeing great reviews on Happy Cow for their extensive vegan menu, and we were not disappointed. We ordered “Leon’s Veast Box” which for those in Scotland would be known as a munchy/ie box. A pizza box full to the brim with a variety of vegan fried foods, kebabs, chips, naan, onion rings and two choices of sauce. An absolute beast of a box which is aimed to feed four. It was all delicious, cooked fresh to order too so everything was hot and crispy. Highly recommended.

AMAZING Vegan options! Possibly the best vegan takeaway place we have ever ordered from, actually good food that tastes incredibly realistic with perfect texture.
Lovely staff, really clear menu and great food. First time we ordered I had to double check it’s actually vegan, my main thing I miss since turning vegan years ago has been fish and I can confidently say the vegan fish and chips are incredible!

We have been having fish and chips from here for a while, tonight we were very disappointed. My husband can’t eat the batter so we take it off, there was very little fish it was all batter. It was like it was cut in half lengthwise.

My partner enjoyed the chips and cheese, says they were really nice. Equally speaks very highly of the service.
However, unfortunately they didn’t have curry sauce (unheard of) and the cod that I got wasn’t good quality at all. 2 small pieces that tasted more like plaice. Drenched in oil and flavourless. Fishcake, no issues.
Really disappointed wouldn’t return.
