My mom really likes this place! I don’t.
This is why:
-Atmosphere-
This place is probably one of the dirtiest restaurants that I have been in. I literally wiped down two booths before just settling because I was tired of being my own busboy. Dimly lit and worn down, if there is a such thing as a “dive restaurant”, this is it.
-Service-
The service was pretty terrible in the beginning, but our server was nice enough so I won’t go too hard on them.
-Food-
Honestly, the food was a joke. I ordered a gyro with extra meat.. and the meat I was given was basically the kind you buy frozen from Walmart, and was lacking any sort of flavor or authenticity.
It was still very underwhelming and came with chopped onions and tomatoes on the side.. I mean honestly they could take it off the menu and not lose a penny.
Saying that though my mom really enjoyed her food and she was given a great portion as well.
I will say they have very good prices.
All in all this will get a 3.1/5 flame rating for diners, definitely is more like a dive.
As always try them out yourself and you be the judge, but will definitely be my last visit to Leon’s.

Absolutely love Leon’s! I come here every Sunday. The food is always delicious, the people are always kind and remember their regulars. Great place to bring the family or just dine in by yourself. Definitely recommend coming to eat here if you are debating on it!

Absolutely fantastic service.
Waitresses are attentive and friendly. They strike the perfect balance between checking on you enough without being obnoxious.
The real star is the food. The chicken noodle soup is the best I’ve ever had. All of the food had a true homemade taste.

We customers over 30 years West Dearborn on Michigan Ave at Telegraph easy to find. Place packed open till closed 7 days per week. Great prices, and food, a Hot Soup Bar with four Delicious choices . She had a Grilled Chicken Salad with Soup Bar absolutely Marvelous. Me Eggs Benedict with Pancakes only $10 a mega Deal . I ordered the M.O.P burger with fries and the beef lentil soup with a raspberry tea. First of all, this place was very clean . The service was fast and the waitress Tina is a delight! The owner is full of jokes and while I was paying he made sure to accommodate another patron he was on the phone with. I must say that I have been ordering mushroom burgers anywhere I go . This burger is one of the best I have ever had. The bun is fluffy and the burger full of flavor. It was very flavorful. It came with lettuce , tomato and pickles on the side as an option. I tried it both ways but found that it was best for me without the “salad” or pickles. I ate the pickles individually and they were crunchy and like sliced pickles should be with the crunch. The French fries were fresh and cooked in new oil. I ate every single one of them. They weren’t greasy and cooked to perfection. I was absolutely satiated and couldn’t eat anymore. The quality and value of the food is more than satisfying. I paid less here , got great service, good food and didn’t get hungry later as if I went to McDonald’s. I really liked this experience. I even had a bagged fresh bread basket but couldn’t eat anymore. The only thing I think could be better was the beef lentil soup. Although it tastes good It lacked the beef flavor. Even so, this is a great place to visit ! I will be returning!

Very relaxed environment to eat any meal. I appreciate the bread and soup before each meal, the food is good. Staff is extremely friendly and attentive, food is good but the service is what I appreciate most. Great servers. All servers deserve to make a living wage and I hope the restaurant pays these ladies accordingly, because they are the ones keeping your business so strong.
