We wanted to try something outside of chain restaurants, but this place is nothing to “write home about.” Upon our arrival, we observed a small child running around in the kitchen. Not only is this dangerous, but I’m sure the health dept would not approve.
The food is overpriced. We ordered cheese bread as an appetizer, not realizing it is only individual portions. We also ordered the meat pizza and a beef and cheddar sandwich.
The cheese bread was a bit dry and was served with a cup of under seasoned butter. Normally breadsticks are served with marinara so we asked the waitress for some, not realizing we were going to be charged for “extra sauce.” The sandwich was next to bare and lacking (as you can see in pic.) It was served with cheap chips that tasted like they hadn’t been stored correctly.
The pizza was ok. It tasted like the canned pizza crust from Kroger. It was under-seasoned so we added salt.
In summary, I’m always happy when we try something new but do not recommend based on our experience.

Consistently great food and great service! This is our go to when we don’t want to cook or when we want to take friends or family out to eat locally. Their staff is the best! Always attentive service, they have a good variety, always fresh and hot, the place is clean and we love the decor and shirts that clearly display their Christian values. Thanks Leono’s, so glad your’e here!

Stop by for a visit today passing through town. We ordered the thick crust supreme pizza. We have been stopping in off and on for years and the pizza and service are always great. The crust is nice and thick but crisp. Toppings are always top-notch. Our servers are always attentive to additional drinks. If you need a little extra dipping garlic butter they’re always willing to bring it out to you. The prices haven’t changed in quite a while. The pizza could easily feed three for a meal and it was $22 the atmosphere is quaint and you are able to have good conversation.

I ordered the Leonos spinach pizza with sausage added to half. There was not much sauce on the pizza, and I couldn’t determine if it was house-made. Based on its smooth consistency and sweeter taste, I would guess it was not. The spinach was fresh, tasty, and generously portioned. The sausage did not appear to be house-made either, resembling the sausage found in a Tostitos pizza. The thin crust was crispy, though I personally prefer it slightly more charred. The tomatoes lacked the robust, acidic flavor typical for this time of year.

Pricing was average.

The restaurant was meticulously clean, and our waitress was friendly and attentive.

There were a few games for the kids and an expensive jukebox.

We went and got a lasagna dinner with a hot ham and cheese plate. Needless to say they was both terrible. The hot ham and cheese was way over cooked. Bread was hard enough to break teeth and was just terrible all the way around. The lasagna was no better, highly overcooked. Not to mention asked about sauce on lasagna and was told it was smooth. It was actually super thick and nasty. We was beyond disappointed with our meal. The waitress even realized we wasn’t eating our food and still didn’t offer to give us anything else or to even take food off bill. Neither of us ate our food. We left food on table and paid bill for something we didn’t even eat. Maybe it was a bad day, or maybe we had higher expectations. But we agreed to never go back.

Leonos is always a favorite dine in place or pizza takeout! I don’t know why their pizza is so special, but it doesn’t compare to anywhere else. The service is always great and the food never disappoints.

The Walking Dead graphic novel mentions this restaurant so we had to try it. Sure enough, the pizza is fantastic, the staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere brings me back to old school pizza parlors growing up. Highly recommend!

My Mom suggested we go here for lunch and what a great choice that was! We were both thrilled with the food and the price. It was nice and clean inside, too. Service was great. Mom got the lasagna and salad and she said it was really good. I got the fettuccine Alfredo and I really loved it. I was a little scared when I read it had cinnamon in it, but figured I’d try it. Omg it was so good! There’s a light cinnamon taste, not overwhelming and definitely not weird. Absolutely I’d order it again!

We rented an airbnb in the area & after reading the reviews decided to go. The pizza was not bad but nothing to write home about as the reviews indicated. It was reminiscent of “school pizza” which was a childhood favorite.

Pro: Pizza was hot and fresh.

Added value: GPS clunked out and Rachel gave me directions which was nice. Randa was our waitress & although for “other” reasons we decided to get our food to go rather than dine in she was very pleasant. I appreciated this.

Covid precautions: If masks and social distancing are necessary for you, neither was exercised by patrons or staff.

If in the area give it a whirl!
