Great spot for some pizza for sure. Service is very nice and attentive, always making sure your personal needs are being met to your satisfaction. Food was pretty good too. I got half a hot sausage hoodie, and a small white pizza. I’ll say the hoodie was good but me personally I prefer my veggies cooked more just so their soft but over the flavor was great. The white pizza was super good, very crispy with some fresh tomatoes and black pepper, definitely fire. I recommend stopping in for a lunch break or ordering take out.

The consistency in quality of Leone’s pizza keeps us coming back week after week. Whether we are dining in (where we get to interact with wonderful staff)or getting the pizza delivered, the pizza is always amazing. Leones is one of the best pizza shops in Pittsburgh.

Leone’s Pizza is Pittsburgh’s best kept secret for authentic style Chicago Deep Dish pizza! Best in the city and surrounding areas hands down! I come here pretty regularly when I’m craving a Chicago Deep Dish pizza and they never fail to deliver, expect to pay 30+ dollars for your pizza but expect to have enough food to feed yourself for a week. There’s a reason they tell you to hold the box with 2 hands when you pick it up because these pies are heavy, filled with toppings and sauce, and oozing cheese. Leone’s keep up the amazing pies!

We chose this place based on the reviews. They were friendly and accommodating and let us put two tables together. Unfortunately, the food just wasn’t very good. Everything else was fine. They asked us if we wanted our meatball subs to come out when they were done or with the pizza and I chose with the pizza. I thought they would keep them warm or something. They weren’t done that much quicker than the pizza but when they came out, the meat was cold. The pizza was hot enough, but not really piping hot like pizza should be. We ordered the pierogi pizza, which was one of the specialty pizzas, and maybe I just don’t like that flavor combination, but I found it kind of dry and on the bland side. The meatball sub would have been fine if it wasn’t cold. The salad was fresh and tasty.

Ordered a Buffalo chicken pizza, they send a BBQ chicken pizza. No big deal. Call back to correct the order they send a Buffalo chicken pizza with ZERO Buffalo sauce on it. Take your money to someone who cares. Ordered from here for years but the quality has gone downhill.

Ordered 2 pizzas and a sandwich. Was told 35 min. It was ready an hour later. I had their pizza before and it was great. The pizza was burned on the bottom. Very well done. You can clearly see staffing issues. The poor girl was running around like crazy waiting on tables, bringing out food, and taking orders on the phone. We ate the pizza because we were starving. But we were disappointed in the large pizza due to it being overcooked. The medium pizza was great.

You have to order your food at the counter, which was very busy with people coming in, paying & picking up their take out orders. We had chicken tenders, French fries & onion rings that we ate there & brought a small cheese pizza home. Food was very good!

I had delivery so I can’t answer the other 2 question. The pizza was burnt! One would think if I’m spending $30+ on a small pizza & 2 cans of coke it wouldn’t be BURNT. Offered to make me another but my lunch break would be over before it got here. I’m trapped as I’m the only one at the office today. So I ate 3 pieces against my will. Their pizza tastes awful when burnt!!

With all the pizza aficionados in the world I am certainly not one but with a pizza loving family this one made everyone happy and is a must try in the Pittsburgh area. I would share a picture but no need to show off crumbs.
