Isn’t at this place during Norfolk restaurant week and we were pleasantly surprised with how great it was. to start. We had the house meatballs, and a house salad. I had a dirty martini from the bar, which was great for dinner. We ordered off the restaurant week menu. I got the linguine and clams and my husband got the chicken marsala or Malisse all of it came out well seasoned hot and fresh. Definitely enjoyed this restaurant for dinner. I had a dessert cocktail cannot remember their name but it definitely hit the spot will visit them again. The ambience in service is great. The noise level was appropriate bathrooms and amenities were very clean. They do have outside seating. We chose to sit inside, but they also have rooftop seating. Check them out.

Really nice meal here last night before going to the concert at the arena. We started with the bruschetta, fresh and zesty and crunchy. Soooooo good! For mains, my husband had the mushroom gnocchi in a creamy creamy light sauce – pillows of deliciousness. I opted for the lobster fettuccine – my comments reflect my own taste buds, not the cuisine! I found the marinara sauce a bit spicy for my taste (more like a diavolo; hubs loved it, though), and it kind of overpowered the delicate lobster flavor. I might like a white wine & garlic sauce in its place, but I can’t do spicy like I used to. The lobster itself was cooked absolutely perfectly – not overcooked, not undercooked, not rubbery, just glorious and unctuous. We split the tiramisù dessert, excellent espresso/Mascarpone flavor and not too sweet. (It disappeared too quickly for a photo.) Service was attentive and friendly. Definitely a place to add to the rotation!

First time here and it was amazing Really great indoor space. Amazing outdoor space. Nice bar and high top seating area. Water feature separates the dining room to the bar. The food is wonderful. The drinks were great. Our server Megan was top notch Will definitely be back. If you are in the area, I highly recommend this restaurant. Reservations are highly suggested.

I have a great experience every time at Leone’s! We were headed to a show, &Juliet at the Chrysler and told our server we had a time crunch. She was wonderful (I’m so sorry can’t recall her name right now) and the service was so quick. We had a full dinner, multiple cocktails in under an hour. Their spaghetti is SO GOOD! And the cocktails were flavorful and fun. Will be back 🙂

From the start the restaurant was cute and the atmosphere was relaxed. Parking can be a bit of a pain but was able to enjoy a peaceful dinner and drink. The server was attentive and I never had to ask for a refill, the food was good nothing to rave about, but it was good.
Overall the service, timeliness, and atmosphere made for a nice dinner out.
Pricing wasn’t too bad, seen way more expensive places with subpar food, definitely recommend checking out.

Everything was over salted. Love. The variety would have been perfect if it wasn’t over salted? Set for the cheese board. And the duck was overcooked which is pretty hard to do.

My first visit to Leone’s was last night, and it did not disappoint. I had the sausage pesto gnocchi, and it was authentic and delicious! I was also able to sample the lasagna and chicken milanese, which were both excellent as well. The dishes were packed with flavor and fresh herbs. Everyone in my party was pleased with our dishes, and the server was attentive and friendly. The cannolis were the perfect ending to my meal (because they were out of cheesecake 🙁 ) It was a little chilly in the back room in which we were seated, but it was overall a pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for authentic Italian food, and I will definitely return.

New Years Eve we were so, so disappointed. We were seated in a room to the left of the Hostess stand–it was warm, inviting and had a fire going. It was a perfect set up for a nice year-end dinner until a loud group came in. I am assuming they requested the TV to be turned on to the football game, because they spent the next 45 minutes yelling at the TV and drunkenly cheering with each other. Can we normalize leaving the sports bar atmosphere to the sports bars?!
I ordered the Duck–I ordered it medium rare, as it should be. What I got was a chewy, overcooked duck with a hash side that was so salty I couldn’t eat it. I absolutely hate sending food back and especially hate doing it when our server is so gracious. I received a mediocre/small plate of pasta instead. My partner’s creamy pesto was also very salty.
The calamari was delicious, drinks were fantastic (espresso martini was the best I have had), the service was great, but the entrees were a flop. For a $200 meal, I expect better. Just another spot to add to the list of disappointing Hampton Roads “fancy” restaurants.

Great place and ambiance. Food was delicious. We had a big party and the lady waiting on us did a great job despite one of our guest giving her a hard time. But she did amazing in my opinion
