Absolutely the best pizza in Richmond period!
They have a nice little bar. It’s an absolutely great family place to go or go to the Denon have a work, lunch or dinner. The servers are amazing. Dave, Amanda, Barbara Betsy, Jaymee, Megan and Travis.
They are like dealing with family except they don’t usually talk back!
The owner that said that restaurant for 39 years and he does a fabulous job cranking out food.
Is absolutely a must do in Richmond.

This is a very quality pizza. I prefer a thin crust these days and Leonardo’s is perfection to me. This review is for the veggie pie. Sauce and ingredients are superb. Nice flavor from the oven. I picked it up but atmosphere inside was very nice . Probably a nice place to dine in and have a nice beer or cocktail.

My wife and I usually eat here once every two weeks or sometimes once a week. We have gotten to know many of the staff which makes it fun. We’ve never been disappointed or received bad service or food. We highly recommend Leonardo’s. We’ve even had the opportunity to speak with the owner who is very engaging and kind. We’d like to give a special shout out to Barbara.

Not only is the food amazing, but the staff is incredible as well! Jaime was our server, and what a gem—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. I’ve never had a bad experience here, and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Our family of five visited Leonardo’s for dinner on Father’s Day (June 15, 2025). The restaurant was not busy, we were greeted promptly and a booth with a chair at the end was offered. When the waitress came over to give us our menus she realized the table hadn’t been wiped down; she was apologetic and quickly wiped it down. A different waitress came over and took our drink orders (5 waters and a glass of prosecco). They were brought quickly and we placed our appetizer orders as well as our entree orders. Approximately 40 minutes later, our waitress asked if I wanted another glass of prosecco (no) and did not notice empty water glasses. She said she was checking on our food. 50 minutes after we ordered our food, our cheese fries were brought to the table (and were not nearly what we were expecting-very minimal cheese sprinkled on the center). Around 10 minutes later, the appetizer salad that was ordered and 2 bowls of soup were brought to the table. The crab chowder (pictured) was visibly separated and unappetizing. French Onion soup was good. Croutons were soggy on the salad but easily picked off. 3 minutes after our soups/salad were dropped off at our table, our entrees (4 personal pizzas and a chicken parm dinner) were at our table. They were warm and seemed to have been sitting under a warmer for quite some time (compared to the piping hot French onion soup). The pizza crust was soggy (pictured) on each of the 4 personal pizzas, likely from sitting on the plates for so long before being served to us. We were not ever asked how anything was nor were drinks ever refilled. My husband had to approach a different waitress (the one that seated us initially to get a box and our check after we had been there for an hour and 32 minutes. Other patrons were seeming to be frustrated as well. It could’ve been a one night problem but we unfortunately will not be back.

I normally have no issues but today I ordered Shrimp Fettuccine with Alfredo Sauce. When I got home I realized it was chicken instead of shrimp. I called and spoke with Marissa. She ensured me she would call me back after speaking with a manager.
Never heard back from her! This is disappointing. I normally eat here regularly because I work up the street. My work team has eaten here. Now due to the poor customer service, I’m seriously re-thinking if I’ll return. Poor customer service!

I was curious about this place, so I decided to give it a go. I ordered an Xl deluxe to go. Plenty of toppings, great flavor and left me and my family full with 2 slices leftover 🙂
It was prepared quickly and the staff were friendly while I waited. I love how customizable it is. I have acid reflux, so the amount of sauce was great although I’d probably get a side of marinara for crust.

Working Living
Good Pizza I love the white Pzza and order here often. My only complaint and why not 5 stars is when ordering custom pizza they forget a topping. Still charge me so that can be disapointing.
