Best damn bread I have ever had! Superior to Sarcone’s and other South Philly Bakeries. Pastries are great too. Although I believe Isgro’s in South Philly is a little bit better. But Leonardo’s is one of the top Italian bakeries, delis, and pizza joints in the entire Philadelphia area if not the best, at everything they do!

I needed a bday cake quick, stopped in Leonardo’s Bakery & it being a Tuesday the baker’s were still getting fresh cakes made…I went non conventional & asked if she had any whole cheesecakes & she did. I did request strawberry on top, she accommodated my request & went above & beyond adding rosettes on each slice with other beautiful pinkish deco & sprinkled a pink dust to finish it off…It was such a wonderful surprise when I opened the box at home!!! It was beautiful & OMG DELICIOUS!!! Those 2 wonderful ladies helped me out of a jamb (my fault waiting until the last minute to get a cake & it was not going to be grocery store-NO WAY). I thank you so very much ladies!!!! With Leonard’s only being a few blocks from home….I found my new Bakery & Pizza spot. I never knew they were there, but so thankful I did find Leonardo’s. Also the Italian fare they have is wonderful….I’ll be stopping in to get my pasta there!!!! Thank you again!!!

Small little Italian place with amazingly fresh food. The owners could be just like Mom Mom and Pop Pop. Reminds me of family when I go there. Try them if you haven’t. You won’t be disappointed.

I visit Leonardo’s often. It is a quaint, off the beaten path wonderful authentic Italian business. The people are very eager to share their offerings with all who come. They always have fresh baked products available. Both hot and cold. They offer wonderful Italian breads, cookies, sandwiches, lunch meat, cheeses, olives etc..I am disabled I am mute. Therefore its sometimes difficult to understand things I may want or wish to say. This establishment always takes time to be sure I have everything I want. It’s like going home at this beautiful place.
If you like the charm of hard working people offering the best they have , then visit Leonardo’s. It’s also a nice place to meet like minded people that enjoy the finer foods.

Today 10/25/22 I visited Leonardo’s with my mother. At first glance you feel like you are stepping into a small piece of Italy right here in Trevose. Clean, and Friendly.
Food 10/10: I got a large pepperoni pizza. Absolutely amazing, crust was crispy, almost no flop what-so-ever. Perfect amount of pepperoni and cheese. If you enjoy a perfectly cooked well done pizza like its right out of New York, then this is a must try for you. PS they dont pop the bubbles YUMM
I got a new job just down the road and needless to say I just became a regular.
