I finally found my goto place for pizza in Hudson! Pizza was excellent. Crust was perfect and I was able to easily bite into it. The sauce was great and they were generous with toppings. Service was friendly and attentive. The rest of their menu and food being delivered to the tables looked delicious. Atmosphere was clean and comfortable.

This place hosted an event that we thought would be enjoyable and include a nice dinner. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The service was terrible from start to finish. We repeatedly had to flag down our waitress or get up and go to the counter ourselves just to get basic things we needed.
It took three attempts to receive my drink correctly and it was just a standard fountain drink. The food took an extremely long time to arrive, and when it did, it did not come out all at once. Some of the table had finished eating before others received their food, and some items never arrived at all. Because of this, some meals had to be taken to go.
The waitress never came back to check on us, confirm our order, or see if we needed anything. We were there for over two hours for what should have been a simple meal, and we still did not receive everything we ordered. Sitting for two hours with four kids made the experience completely unenjoyable.
The explanation given was that the kitchen was small and the staff was short-handed. However, if that is the case, then an event should not be held that the kitchen and staff clearly cannot handle. Knowing your limits is essential.
We were told one meal would not be charged “as a favor,” yet it didn’t even reach the table until we were already leaving and had to be taken to go. Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had.

Ordered a pizza to go. They said it was a 20 min wait. The dining area is clean and well decorated. The staff are super friendly and the food is top notch. The American style is a terrific NY/NJ style pizza with thin crust and just the right amount of toppings! Plus, I only had to wait about 12 min for my order.

Ordered a pizza for pickup. It was Hawaiian add spinach and extra sauce. When picking up they were busy so I had high hopes. I didn’t know to go right to the cash register as it seemed to be in the serving area so I tried to be respectful. I was cutoff by someone obviously busier than myself who went right to the register. My fault for not knowing the procedure. They were very busy so lessoned learned. I paid verified my order and upon inspection it was clearly obvious there was no extra sauce or their definition is way different than mine. I’d argue the pizza had zero sauce and it was like cheese bread and toppings. Maybe I insulted them or something, but I’ll keep ordering from Slice of Life where they execute my pizza the way I like. Apologies if extra sauce was an unreasonable request, but I did say I would pay just like the other places i get pizza from that fulfill customer requests.

Figured slow night Tuesday, I should order out .yeah great ! 1 salad 1 soup and a ham calzone easy right.? .well 1&1/2 hours later.i only live 2 miles away-I received cold soup not a salad that I ordered and a half cooked calzone I mean the ham inside was cold from the refrigerator and the dough was absolutely raw inside awesome meal.. ohh the driver was nice and didn’t charge me the 2 dollar delivery fee because i had a long wait so I can’t complain.. well I’m out !! One and done for me..

Words cannot begin to describe how wonderful this restaurant is. The food is impeccable. The service is stupendous. The atmosphere is unmatched.
We’ve thrown parties at home and had pizza and salad from here for catering and it has always turned out awesome.
As for dining in, you can’t go wrong with coming here. These guys know what they’re doing.

I’ve been getting food from here for YEARS and ill never get Pizza/Italian from anywhere else. PLUS our delivery driver is the absolute best! You all deserve the world thank you for many years of great dinners my family and I appreciate you all so much!
