This is a classic French spot in the center of Paris, known for its traditional steak and potatoes entrecote. It’s simple but interesting. They keep the meat on a small burner at the table to stay warm while you eat.
The concept itself isn’t flashy, and in the end it is just steak and potatoes, so it doesn’t feel especially special, but the sauce was quite good and made the dish better. Drinks were good as well.
There is usually a line, and we waited about 40 minutes to an hour, so it’s something to plan for, but overall it’s a pleasant experience if you’re in the area and craving something classic and French.
Dessert- Creme Brûlée was good.

Heard there were very long queues to get in but we were able to just walk in on a Monday lunchtime. I would have been extremely disappointed if I had queued like so many others seem to have, as my experience in here was very average. The staff were friendly enough and there was a nice traditional decor and overall vibe around the place that I liked. The food was disappointing, €26 euros for the classic steak and chips which were adequate sure but nothing special by any means, and definitely not worthy of any sort of queue. Go for the experience if you’re interested but certainly don’t queue for it, I myself won’t be rushing back anytime soon.

I had a great experience at L’Entrecôte de Paris. The beef, the frites, and especially the sauce were all amazing — one of the best meals I’ve had. The service was excellent too. The waiters were very attentive, and Saikat was especially fantastic. He was super friendly and made the experience even better. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

The salad is average, but rather small portion.
The steak is disappointing. We asked for medium rare and medium. As you can see in the photo, it’s definitely well done for the medium. We inquired one waiter about it and he insisted it was medium. Later we requested again and they were willing to change a steak.
Overall, it is 100% overrated and overpriced restaurant. Can’t believe it is a steak house but in such bad quality. Not to mention we waited for 30mins. Certainly not recommend.

Meh – the original entrecôte was better. Didn’t enjoy the steak. It came out in one min and had a weird flavor to it – sauce was fine. Wait was 40 minutes. Chocolate mousse was horrible – 1/5 and it was like 10 Euros – not worth it.

You can experience the famous Parisian steak and it doesn’t cost much. If you go early (I was there around 11:30-12) you will not wait for a table at all. Everything was delicious and the plates are big!

Famous French steak. The taste is great. There is always a queue with min. 30 mins waiting time. The atmosphere is good. Toilet is underground. The price is a bit high but worth to try your experience.

Definitely worth the hype. We came to L’Entrecôte de Paris when the flow of tourists was very low, and we were able to enjoy the place with no waiting time or long lines, which is usually common here.
We ordered the classic entrecôte and it was delicious. They perfectly respected the level of doneness we asked for, and the signature sauce that accompanies the meat was exquisite. The fries were also great, crispy and salty, exactly what you look for in good French fries. The restaurant, although very simple, is a true classic and a must-visit.
The service was also excellent, very kind, and surprisingly fast. Highly recommended.

Food was amazing but what wasn’t was our waiter’s attitude and treatment. He was very disrespectful, made a rude comment when my boyfriend ordered just tap water, even though I did order a drink besides “just tap water”, we were SO excited about the fries refill but our waiter barely even looked at our table, not even when he wasn’t busy, he just decided to ignore us pretty much all night, so we had only one refill after 15 minutes of waiting for him to notice us to order, just to wait for our refill even more than 20 minutes more to get to our table, beside we where even uncomfortable to order cause he was so rude. When we paid to leave he didn’t even say goodbye to us, just tossed the ticket and left. We were SHOCKED to receive such treatment, being polite and educated cost €0. I was so excited about this experience and if our waiter wasn’t that rude we would’ve had a BLAST cause food was really good. so pretty sad about my experience. Also my salad came with an extra bug surprise
