Great tasting Mexican food. It is my family’s go to Mexican restaurant in Harlingen. Love their free ships and salsa. Instead of a “saucy” salsa, the salsa is actual chunky bits of tomatoes, onions, cilantro, jalapeños and the right amount of salt. I’m not a fan of very salty food and Leños food is flavorful beyond just adding salt to food like most restaurants. Be sure to try their Bistec Tacos and Pollo Asada. By default they will give a tasty green sauce. But if you like spicy, they have a red sauce that is flavorful and quite spicy. Their lemonade is also extremely good.

You can never go wrong here! Whether you order the tacos, lonches, or any of their other plates, you won’t be disappointed. I’ve been to this place several times for lunch and it’s always delicious. Their aguas frescas are the best — super refreshing and flavorful!

Food was great and the woman in the front helped me take my order to my car as I had my hands full with my son. The parillada was enough for 3 kids and 2 adults, everyone loved it but the extra help to the car was above and beyond service.

My new favorite place for lonches!! The food was delicious and made to order. Staff was a super friendly and amazing service. Plates are well served, and every bite was bursting with flavor. The agua Fresca was delicious, too. The restaurant is spacious, and they have a room for a private gathering

May 2024 visit. Thought we would give em another try. Wasn’t bad. Tried some new stuff. Had a fajita baked potato, fajita bombers and the nachos. Everyone else had dollar tacos for taco Tuesday. Much better visit……………..Newly opened restaurant. This location has been several different restaurants so we decided to give it a try around 5pm. Service was great and staff was very courteous. Food seemed a little pricey but was well served. Wife ordered fajita taquitos which were really loaded but a bit salty. I ordered a beef rib plate. It was well served and had great presentation but the ribs were not made fresh. They had good flavor but we’re dry and shriveled. Curiosity got the best of me so I decided to try one Tripa taquito crispy with everything on it. That was fantastic. Also noticed they had mollejas on the menu. Not very many restaurants do. Didn’t try them but I will on my next visit. I’m willing to give em another shot. Maybe I caught em on a bad day. They accept cash or card but there is a fee for using your card.

Leños Y Brasas was really good! They updated the place from when it used to be Kikis. The service was great and the food was served quick! The facility was clean and was quiet and welcoming! The fajita was delicious! The beans were fresh, along with the aguas frescas! Definitely coming back! They also have a private room for about 10 people

Let me say this I’m fairly new to this restaurant and by far this is the best in Harlingen TX from the freshest Pico de Gallo to the hot sizzling fajitas clean atmosphere and great customer service they are very attentive. Great amount of food at a reasonable price. Plate presentation at its best they say you eat with your eyes first and yup definitely true .keep up the great work To all who work there.
