I am a long time fan of Lenny who is a dedicated restaurateur. I first met him when he worked with his family in Port Chester at Alba’s and then he opened his own restaurant, Il Costello, in Mamaroneck, NY. Lenny has continued to refine the dining experience he offers and I have never had a complaint along the way. I feel confident in expressing my opinion that he has reached a pinnacle with Lenny’s Steakhouse in Stamford. As always, the service is top-notch…always prompt, and making everyone feel valued and deserving of special attention. The menu selections are diverse, not just with steak, but with options for all appetites. A variety of starters, salads and main courses offer tempting choices for every palate. I wish I had photographed the octopus appetizer I ordered tonight, but it looked so good I dove right in. It was beyond tender and a unique mix with eggplant and cannelloni beans. My husband had the stuffed artichoke, which was served with absolutely the most attractive presentation I’ve ever seen on an artichoke and he devoured it. Don’t wait, go and

Great steakhouse in North Stamford! The ribeye was one of the best steaks I’ve had in a restaurant in a while and actually reasonably priced which I appreciate! Nice crust and great seasoning. The staff including Gent is very friendly and team service is great. Even better, Lenny the owner is very hands on, seating guests, pouring wine, and even bringing out dishes. Great experience!

Great night out with friends. The food was amazing everything was cooked to perfection. Steak melted in our mouths. The staff were super friendly and took care of our every need. Aye t̾e̾r̾p̾y̾fam ya boy slid up to LS&S craving a spectacle slab a beff and being that the other Lennys location has had a solid rep in the deprtmnt we decided to give it a try…
It was quite when we got there and the interior feels like it leans towards upper scale but doesnt exactly pull it off…
aside from the venue
The staff was very attentive throughout the whole meal which was a plus.
The food:
Appetizer- stuffed artichoke
Main- dry aged porterhouse
Sides- parm mashed taters, escarole
Lemme start by saying this stuffed artichoke was the real deal, I would come back just for this 10 out of 10 times. If it was pepperoni stuffing it would be old world nonna approved. Succulent steamed choke leaves that are so tender and so well seasoned I was taken a back (favorite item of the night).
The porterhouse? Was really good quality meat, but for my taste the dry aged flavor was just a shade too intense. Some pieces were just the right amount of funk tender goodness while others were too far over the blue cheese line fer my preferences. I mean it was cheesey in some bites but the overall it was delicious.
The sides were a bop too, a solid parm whipped potato puree and well sautéed escarole. Overall these sides were a strong chorus line to a A-1 verse. Blap’n type meal vibes as a whole the presentation of the steak was next level, swimming in high grade buttah!
Would come back for a high end steak experience if I’m in the area. Nice work guys!

Had a wonderful evening with Mr daughter.. While celebrating time together, we wanted a nice meal with a comforting atmosphere… Looked up a 5 star restaurant in the hood and found Lennys! Not only is the place nice, the staff are amazing and the food-DEVINE!! Lenny is amazingly attentive-he stops to speak with everyone and he’s constantly helping the staff to ensure that all is going well and good is on time!! He even assited us when my daughter’s steak was not cooked to her liking! Not to worry- we’ll be back

Driving back to NH from NY, we took an exit to try to find a nice restaurant. It was my wife’s birthday and we had no dinner plans. We spotted Lenny’s after getting off the highway and thought it looked nice. We were immediately greeted by a friendly server who gave us out choice of tables. Service was prompt and polite and the food was outstanding. We each got a pasta dish and both agreed that it was the best tasting sauce we had ever had. I will add that the atmosphere was upscale and the owner/manager came around to each table to ask how everything was. The do everything right at Lenny’s. This is a great place and I highly recommend you eat there.

I had such a great experience at Lenny’s Seafood & Steakhouse! From the appetizers all the way through dessert, everything was consistently delicious and clearly made with care. The steak was cooked perfectly, and every dish felt thoughtfully prepared.

Upscale steakhouse with operational issues. Ordered takeout around 5PM when they were not busy and drove home to find they had forgotten to put the dessert in. You should not have to double check orders at a higher end restaurant. Went home to find the lemon sole was not filleted properly and still had a few bones in the fish. Sear on the steak was good, but chef added way too much coarse salt to finish so the steak came out basically coated in salt.
We did end up getting a partial refund back after calling about our missing dessert, but it did require a follow up call a week later.

Lenny’s is the best restaurant in Stamford. The food is always incredible, whether you’re ordering seafood or one of their perfectly cooked steaks. It is right up there with Peter Luger. Everything is high quality and consistently delicious. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel taken care of.
You can tell the owners truly care about the restaurant and the experience they create for their guests. Highly recommend Lenny’s for a great dinner, special occasion, or just a night out with friends.

Husband and I went out for NYE early bird special- didn’t think it was going to be too crazy. We were wrong. Took 30 minutes to get seated ON A RESERVATION & were told to wait in the bar area, which was pretty packed also.
The owner Lenny, brought us to our table and did apologize for the wait. Very sweet man.
Old fashions were good.
Food was delicious.
The only thing that grinded my gears- I asked for the remainder of the food to get wrapped and waiter only wrapped the tiniest portion. Assuming he threw out everything else.
