5 degrees outside and 25 people inside. This place just put 3 people outside seconds after we walked in without a ride to say they were done serving. We said okay, can we wait for a ride and they said no you need to leave.. meanwhile they continued to serve and put two women outside in 5 degree weather on a Saturday night at 2:30am. We have been stuck outside waiting for a ride shivering. If you are looking to be treated as anything other than a human being this is not the place for you. Takes a lot to leave a review but these people have zero care for anyone. Swinger club looking to treat outsiders in a way no business should ever treat anyone.

This was probably the most anticipated bar opening on the East side. I had been following their updates on social media for months and silently rooting for this place. It finally opened last weekend so we decided to pay a visit. First the drink menu: you’ll find classics like Old Fashioned, Negroni, and Margarita at very reasonable prices. In times when the cheapest drink at any bar is $15, finding $10 ones at Lenny’s feels like a breath of fresh air. Now about the place: while the aesthetics of the place surely deliver on the dive bar vibes, somehow it just feels like the bar has always been there; intact, unchanged. You can still see writings on the walls probably from the previous bar. The people: when we were there it was early on a Saturday evening, just a handful of people and very chill. We sat at the bar and the guy next to us started a conversation, even asking how we had heard about the place; good friendly vibes. Our bartender, however, had more of a nonchalant attitude, asking the minimum required and surely just doing their job, even though we tried to engage. During a time of the day when the bar was somewhat quiet, and considering it was the opening weekend, it would’ve been cool seeing the staff and management more enthusiastic and welcoming to people. I believe for a new business that is key to create a good first impression and leave customers wanting to come back. I still root for the success of this place and will come back hoping for a better experience.

Exactly the bar the Eastside needed. Usually a great crowd, elevated cocktail options, Tuesday trivia, Thursday karaoke, pool tournaments Monday, DJ nights occasionally, food popups, etc.

Great French 75, stopped in while we were in the area for the first time. Not extremely friendly/welcoming for such a small bar but great drinks. I’m assuming regulars love the place.

A brand new bar that is killing the grosse point park area. We love the furniture and decor they have gone with. Currently not serving food, but plan to. Great mixed drinks and they have big plans for weekly events.
