L’enfant was a lovely time. Food was really nice and the service was even better. The onion soup is a fantastic rendition of the classic. The steak was juicy and flavorful. Citrus mustard-gravy Chicken as well- surprisingly complimented well with the pickled peppers and pickled grapes which were a great surprise. I didn’t like the Kampachi dish and they insisted on taking it back and off the tab— even provided complimentary oysters. L’enfant is a very young restaurant and I look forward to coming back and seeing them grow 🙂

Good start, but needs work. Onion soup, tartare and chicken were good. Fish was oily, salad appetizer was unremarkable and desserts were good but lacked punch.
L’Enfant has potential but I strongly encourage them to dim the lights (feels like an office space turned restaurant), decide on a music vibe (heard the Strokes and the Kooks at a French restaurant), level up the service and keep refining the dishes.

One of the best experiences I had in restaurants in Mexico City, would recommend the onion soup, and they have a great wine menu.

la verdad me sorprendió mucho para bien. Pedí crudo de atún y pasta de butternut squash y todo estuvo delicioso, bien presentado y con muy buen sabor. El lugar se siente cuidado, cómodo y con buena atmósfera. Definitivamente regreso y lo recomiendo si quieren probar algo diferente y bien hecho.
