We booked this restaurant for Valentine’s Day, which also happened to be my birthday, so I was really hoping for a special experience. Unfortunately, the evening started poorly as we had to wait for our table on arrival, and we were served cocktails while waiting at the bar, even though we would have preferred to receive them once seated at our table.
We were initially placed at a very cramped table, extremely close to other couples and in a noisy area, which made it hard to relax. After I expressed my disappointment, we were moved to a better table. I requested a seat by the glass, but was told this wasn’t possible, despite several of those tables remaining empty throughout our meal.
As it was my birthday, my boyfriend had asked both in advance and in person if the dessert could include a “Happy Birthday” message. Unfortunately, this request was overlooked, which was quite disappointing. Small touches like this can really make or break a special occasion, and it felt like ours wasn’t given the attention we’d hoped for. Will not be returning.

From the moment we entered Lena’s restaurant we were treated with the best service from Ivonka and the rest of the staff were super welcoming too. The locally sourced menu was exceptional to say the least and staff were extremely knowledgeable when it came to wine pairing with the meal. All in all a great evening and we will definitely be back again. Credits to all the staff at Lena’s for such a great evening.

I went to this restaurant today with some friends. While the waiters and bartenders provided excellent service, the manager was rude, arrogant, and unprofessional. She charged us for items that had already been paid. We ended up paying again just to avoid unnecessary stress, but the restaurant seriously needs to train its managers better.

My husband and I visited Lena’s Bar and restaurant yesterday. The food was outstanding and service was excellent. We had some amazing cocktails and enjoyed the stunning views across Galway city. What a great addition to the new Radisson RED hotel. We will definitely be back again soon.

Recently visited this brand new state of the art rooftop restaurant & bar. I was astonished with the atmosphere, service, presentation & dining experience as a whole! As a Galway native, it is so good to have this new trendy hotel in the heart of the city. I would 100% recommend for anyone to visit and experience the quality for themselves!
