The place looks nice, but the service immediately fell short. We walked in and were not greeted at all. There were several people waiting, and we all stood there for about six minutes without any acknowledgment. Being busy is not an excuse—guests should be greeted right away, even if it’s just to let them know someone will be with them shortly.
When we were finally acknowledged, our server was nice, but unfortunately that was the highlight of the experience. The food was extremely overpriced for the quality. I ordered one pound of head-on shrimp, and they were overcooked, dry, and completely lacking flavor. The seasoning was so minimal that the Cajun fries had more flavor than the shrimp themselves.
Overall, the experience was disappointing and did not justify the prices at all. Based on both the service and the food quality, I would not return and would not recommend it.

Went 02/22/26 the service was great and atmosphere is nice. Ordered shrimp boil and chicken tenders and ended up with food poisoning paid a little over $300 for my family to end up sick! Definitely disappointed

This place has potential but at this time I don’t think it’s worth going. I ordered 3 lbs of crawfish takeout and while the crawfish was decent size, everything was so overcooked it was mush. The sausages and potato were practically so mushy that they almost disintegrated when picking them up. The corn was too soft. The sauce flavor is ok but the worst part of it is how thick and goopy it is, instead of buttery and juicy. Maybe it was because I did takeout, but it needs to not be so overcooked and goopy.

The seafood is cooked to perfection. I don’t know who’s back there cooking that sauce, but they need to be fired because that sauce tasted so awful. This is cajun meal. inside that bag was lies and deceit. It tasted like tomato soup. This place has potential but they need to change their sauce if they want to make it. It’s so disappointing. The service was great. Go on the other side it’s better.

We went to the bucket for my birthday and ordered the duo with king crab and shrimp. We had to add on corn and potatoes. I asked for water, and it came in a plastic to-go cup with a lid and straw. The food was brought in a plastic bag and poured onto the table covered with butcher paper. We received 5 partial skinny legs, about 15 shrimp with the heads on, two small red potatoes, and two half corn. There was so much garlic and oily butter that it pooled all around the food. The corn was so overcooked and tasted like frozen corn, the potatoes were also overcooked and mushy. The shrimp was chewy which meant cooked too much and was smothered in the greasy (butter?). The crab was ok. Overall, the meal was flavorless and oily, a big disappointment. The waitress asked how our meal was and when we told he the truth, she made up excuses. For $150 we were hoping for a bit better. I do not recommend The Bucket as a choice for seafood. Spend $40 at Sprouts and boil your own. The photo shows you what we got for $150.

I was stationed at Fort Polk, LA and became accustomed to Cajun food. I’ve had Steamboat Bills in Lake Charles, LA, Hanks in Houston and this was only slightly behind them. The best Cajun place in Hemet. Well worth it.

Not bad, tried it because I never really had a seafood boil in a bag (at The Bucket) super good. Nice people and clean environment

If you are going for the crab boils go somewhere else. Cost was almost $200. Quality of food should have been better for the cost. Most seafood restaurants charge you a set price for whole crab or lobster, they charge by the pound. They felt that the dungeness crab we had was worth a little over $100 by it self. Go to Joe’s Crab Shack or any of the seafood restaurants by the beaches to get better quality and quantity of food for a much better price. Will not return to this restaurant.

We went there instead of the lemongrass, what we ordered was the lobster tail. Had I known that just a lobster tail would be 72$. We would have left … it was our first time and our waitress was of no help at all. Not worth 113$. Especially if all we got was rice, noodles and two potatoes plus the lobster tail. (Got a total of three bites from the tail) not worth the price and the service sucked.
