Get the hot thai tea to start! I had the avacado curry, mild, with chicken and veggies with rice on the side. It was sooooo good, and a generous portion; I ate a little over half and saved some room for dessert

I especially loved the aesthetic!!!

We ordered the appetizer called “Broken Ship,” a fried seafood combo. It came with just 1 tiny piece of halibut, 1 tiny scallop, and 4 small prawns—for $22. Nothing special at all, very mediocre.

We also got 1 Thai tea and 1 Thai coffee. After seeing the appetizer, we realized how overpriced it was and decided not to order any entrées. So the total ended up being about $30 for a tiny appetizer and 2 drinks.

I live in Alaska, I understand prices here can be high, but this was ridiculous. They were nice, but when I mentioned them how expensive it was, they tried to justify it by saying seafood costs a lot. But those small prawns, scallops are the same ones from Costco—I literally have them in my freezer. I know it’s not that expensive. The price was way too high compared to other Thai restaurants. Definitely not worth it. I will never go back.

Food was ok. Seafood salad was pricy and very small. Friendly service. Clean maintained bathroom. My Son in law liked his pad Thai. They do close for a lunch break, so we made it in before they closed for their break. I live opposite side of town, but will return!

Great customer service. Very friendly. Ordered the seafood in golden curry sauce. This was over the top delicious. Nice place. Nothing too crazy as far as the atmosphere. I highly reconvene their food. The portion was just right and all of the ingredients were cooked spot on.

This is the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to. No questions. The food was ridiculously fresh and flavorful, and the service was the best I’ve had at a restaurant in YEARS. We had the veggie rolls- wraps were fried light and crisp to perfection, and the veggies inside were flavorful and cooked without being mushy. The sauce they were served with was light and sweet without being syrupy. The Panang Curry was the best curry I’ve ever eaten, with so much flavor and the perfect level is spice and creaminess. The Pad See Ew was one of the top 3 in my life. Not quite as sweet as I like but cooked so perfectly— the noodles meat and eggs were caramelized and the veggies weren’t mushy. The servers and staff there are also excellent. Kind, clear, and super attentive. My water glass was refilled at least 7 times and I didn’t ever have to ask. Also, in a time of skyrocketing prices, I felt like this was reasonable— all 3 things, with rice for $50, and us two were stuffed! If I lived closer, this place would be a staple.

I love the food at Lemongrass, however, seems like they’ve cut down on portions and increased prices. Got takeout tonight and the broker ship appetizer was $27 and came with approximately 4oz of halibut. Might have to cut back on that take out… getting too expensive to eat there.

More than 10 Thai restaurants in Fairbanks area and the Mayor of Fairbanks personally vouched for Lemongrass and he was right!
Spectacular service and the food is legit!
Made with care, packaged with care for carry out (special efforts to prevent any spillage), Pad Thai and Fried Rice was excellent; variable 4-level scale of spicy and they ask you up front—I recommend Medium.
I don’t get up to Fairbanks often, but this is where I’m going when I do!

This is easily the best Thai food I’ve ever had. I been to 4 or 5 of them in Fairbanks and none can come close to Lemongrass. I usually visit Fairbanks 2-3 times per year and eat here every time, some times more than once. The veggie spring rolls (fried) are amazing dipped in the sweet/spicy sauce and the pork Pad Thai is always hot and delicious. For that and tip it is $36, but the veggie spring rolls are definitely shareable. Expect $20-$30 per person with tip

I had lunch here, and it was a good experience overall.
I ordered the Thai noodle soup, which was flavorful and warming, though it could have used a bit more depth in the broth. The owner was nice and friendly and came to our table to explain and gave me fried garlic to add more flavor.
My husband had the pineapple fried rice, which was nice.

The service was efficient, and the atmosphere was pleasant, making it a comfortable spot for a casual lunch.
While the food was decent, it didn’t leave a lasting impression, but it’s still a solid option if you’re in the area and craving Thai food.
