I have eaten at multiple Thai restaurants all across the US and this one is definitely in my top three favorites. The atmosphere and decor is absolutely lovely. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The food is phenomenal! They also gave us a complementary spring roll with the lunch meals we ordered. We were very satisfied with the food and the price was just right, too! I highly recommend! If I am ever in Greenville, SC, again in the future, there is no doubt I will eat here again.

The food is just amazing. I can’t say enough good things about it. The cashew chicken sauce made me want to lick the bowl clean. The curry was flavorful and spicy without being overly down. I do wish it contain more hardy veggies though.
Only downside was staff. While pleasant they were not really friendly. They did their job but without being personable. There was an odd wait at the door to get seated. And no one even mentioned trying a dessert. Once out meal was about over we were just handed a check.
With more personality and staff actually at the door this place could have been a star.

We had pad thai and thai tea and it was so flavorful and delicious. The thai tea was so on point. My only suggestion is maybe a tad bit cheaper lunch menu and a little less ice in the thai tea or make it one refill. Not enough to justify the cost but it is a splurge. And so delicious here. You also get a free lil spring roll with your meal and it was so perfectly fried and light and delicious. We will def be back.

Pretty busy for a Wednesday night, but our server, who was the only one on the floor, was amazing and very attentive despite being busy. The food was delicious, will definitely be coming back!

Pretty good menu with all the classics. Pad Thai didn’t blow me away but the sour soup sure did! Green curry was on point!

Above $10 but worth every penny. If you are interested in a spicy meal try the veggie basil. The rice is cooked to perfection ! Great place to have lunch!

I’m really picky about my Thai, travel a lot, and have eaten at more Thai restaurants than I can count.
This scores a solid 8 of 10. Authentic Thai cuisine. Friendly, welcoming service. Pleasant dining environment. They took that little extra effort to prepare and present the food in that graceful and visually delightful manner a true Thai chef always does. Chicken sate was delicate and perfect. My yellow curry was excellent. If I were local, I’d be here weekly to explore the rest of the menu. And it doesn’t hurt that it’s in a beautiful, pedestrian friendly part of town. I’m wagering if I tried more items on the menu, my rating might rise a notch to 9.
I don’t just give out ratings. I rated one Thai horror experience in Spartanburg a 1 of 10. The first three Thai restaurants I tried in this general area all scored below 5. So it was a pleasure to find the real thing on my fourth try.

Lemongrass is right on the main drag in downtown Greenville. It’s easy to access, but parking is limited as the area is heavily trafficked. The restaurant atmosphere is calm and quiet. It’s fairly small and narrow but feels larger thanks to the high ceiling. The staff is friendly but ordering can take some time. The food is generously portioned and absolutely delicious. I got a broad noodle dish with meat and vegetables and raw cabbage on the side. The cabbage added a fresh crunch to the meal that brightened the flavors tremendously. The shrimp appetizer was also tasty – great sauce. I would definitely go back to try some other dishes.

Yum!!! I had the shrimp pad Thai. It was delicious and the serving was huge – I couldn’t finish it. We also has basil spring roles. They were fresh and terrific. Cute place. Very comfortable. Great service

Low quality overpriced Thai food I’ve ever had!!! Thought we would support local restaurants by ordering take out. Well I regret getting food from lemongrass tonight. The prices are different on their website from what they charged us, so they misled you on that. We paid over $10-$15 more than we should have! We were just there a little less than a month ago and now prices have increased! Makes you wonder right? And plus they got our order wrong! First of all they charge a $1 extra on just the chicken pad Thai, and charged me for extra chicken which was $4 that I didn’t order. Didn’t even see the extra chicken in mine or my husband’s meal!! Price went up as well on the springs rolls which tasted horrible. Just bland! Didn’t provide any of the sauces for spring rolls or the garlic chili paste that I requested. So my husband went back in and asked Paige C., who served him, for some and she gave us 1 little cup of it! He had to ask for more as if she forgot how many orders we placed. And we asked if the extra chicken was there after he read the receipt, she huffed with an attitude and said “yes it is sir.” Well Paige C. there are people out here who work in the restaurant industry without a job right now!! You would think you would have a grateful attitude that lemongrass is open and you’re getting hours and a pay check!! I’m sure someone would love to take your place if you don’t want to be there ma’am!! So huff at this “Thai Basil across the way from you is much better than what we had tonight! And I will go there from now on!!”
